Mariah Carey launches her own online toolbar

Singer Mariah Carey has conquered music and now she's planning on conquering your desktop. The "Touch My Body" singer is joining the likes of Yahoo, Google, and AOL by launching her own toolbar. The toolbar, made especially for Mariah's biggest fans, or "lambs" as she calls them, is available for download at www.mariahcarey.com.

The new toolbar, currently only available for download with Internet Explorer, includes a search function, as well as links to Mariah's official website, her fan club, and her online store, where fans can buy calendars, t-shirts, and door hangers. It even includes a link to her official fragrance website.

The internet savvy diva has been keeping fans updated on Twitter, even finding herself quoting her own lyrics. Carey likes to play a game of "Name That Tune" with her fans which she mostly updates from the studio while working on her upcoming new album.

Carey's twelfth studio album is already more than halfway complete and is expected for release by year's end. Her last album, E=MC2, featured her eighteenth #1 single and sold over 2.5 million copies worldwide. Carey can next be seen in the upcoming movie "Precious", which won the Audience Award as well as the Grand Jury Prize at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.
