Mariah Carey to tribute Michael Jackson
There's been a plethora of tributes to Michael Jackson since his passing, and now it's Mariah Carey's turn. It is being reported that the "Heartbreaker" singer will debut her own rendition of the Jackson 5 song, "I'll Be There", for MJ's memorial service tomorrow morning (July 7).
Carey first performed the song in 1992 on MTV's Unplugged, a move that reacquainted fans with the 1970 classic. Another big name performer rumored to be paying respect to the King of Pop through music is Jennifer Hudson. The service is taking place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and will also be broadcasted at the nearby, Nokia Theatre. (Gossip Girls)
