Hubbie Nick directs Mariah Carey's hot new video
R&B diva Mariah Carey, husband Nick Cannon and guest rapper Nicki Minaj team up for Mariah's new video featuring "Up Out My Face". Is it hot, or trashy? The song is off Mimi's much delayed Angel's Advocate album. Mariah has confirmed that her remix album, Angels Advocate, is set for a March 30 release, after being pushed back from a February 23 release date.
Usher is set to release his new album, Raymond v. Raymond, on the same day. Angels Advocate is Carey's 13th studio album and will feature all new remixes and duets of songs off her 2009 release, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel.
The video opens with the two divas clad in skintight red in a scene that looks remarkably like a promotion for discount department store Target. But the girls also prance around in sexy nurse outfits and little Barbie Doll outfits. It seems as though Nick has been watching a little too much porn lately. Nicki Minaj, who is best known as a rapper, also shows off a silly side in a bunch of wigs.
Mariah will be attending the Grammy Awards on Sunday, January 31st. She's won five over her career. And in case you are wondering, Cannon recently told MTV News that he and Carey are planning to start a family once things slow down. "We gotta prioritize, because that's a major, major priority. That's like the only priority in life, when you think about it, is starting and raising a family. We wanna make sure everything is out of the way and that we don't have any distractions."
