Pop diva Carey stops in at Oracle
Mariah Carey, who recently turned down her glam to almost unrecognizable levels to play a
social worker in the multi-Oscar-nominated "Precious", has slipped back into her own sizzling
skin and is on tour. Mariah Carey will appear February 26 at Oracle Arena in Oakland. The pop
diva, still on top after 20 years on the charts, alights February 26 at Oracle Arena in one
of the last stops on her North American "Angels Advocate" tour.
Carey's newest single is a plaintive rendition of the '80s Journey ballad, "I Want to Know
What Love Is" off her "Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel" DVD. Tickets for the 8 p.m. show are
$57 to $129.25 at ticketmaster.com. 7000 Coliseum Way, Oakland.
