Mariah Carey pregnant
Is Mariah Carey pregnant? There have been three rumors of her pregnancy, one in 2008, one in 2009, and one in 2010. Let's start in 2008. The rumor mill began buzzing that Carey was pregnant with her husband Nick Cannon's child. At one point, when she was scheduled to go on Oprah in September of 2008, it was assumed by many that she would announce her pregnancy. Alas, that turned out not to be the case.
In September of 2009, rumors of Mariah Carey's pregnancy once again began to swirl, this time again focusing on her appearance on an afternoon talk show. Many assumed her September 2009 appearance on the Ellen show would again have Mariah announcing her pregnancy. Again, this did not happen.
In 2010 rumors started up once again, this time in March, that Mariah Carey was pregnant once again, or perhaps was planning to adopt. Indeed, in March of 2010, the Huffington Post was stoking the flames of speculation. Mariah told the NY Post backstage at the Oscar, "I have a lot of new acting projects coming up. I am talking to ['Precious' director Lee Daniels] about at least three movies. But there's also something else very special on the way. I can't say any more."
