Is Mariah Carey pregnant?
Mariah Carey's life has become incredibly busy over the course of the last few months. First of all, they recently announced that she would be releasing another Christmas album that will feature six new songs as well as remixes of songs from her previous Christmas album that was released in 2000. On top of that, she is pregnant with her first child (more on that later), and is seriously considering becoming a judge for the hit television show "American Idol".
They had reportedly been looking Jennifer Lopez as a potential judge, but are now looking at Mariah Carey to serve as a replacement. According to a source, Mariah is very interested in the position and is going to be fighting for the spot. A source also went on to say that there are "several sticking points" that need to be ironed out before Carey can sign on with the show, but that they are currently negotiating those terms.
Randy Jackson will remain on the program after Simon Cowell and Ellen DeGeneres stepped down from their positions this year. As of now, the rumored replacements will be Mariah Carey and Steven Tyler. Lopez is not formally out of the running, but sources close to Lopez have stated that the deal has fallen through.
It will be interesting to see how well Carey will judge singers on the upcoming season of "American Idol". This is a transition period for the popular talent program, and they need to have the right judges in place if they would like the show to continue to be successful in the wake of Simon Cowell leaving.
A curvy Mariah Carey made her first public appearance in months in Sao Paolo, Brazil on Thursday which prompted the world to say that she is indeed pregnant for husband Nick Canon. Time will tell. But if she is expecting, well congrats to the love birds. (RnB Music Blog)
