When will Mariah Carey confirm she's pregnant?
Recording artist Mariah Carey has been keeping one little secret. The singer, married to America's Got Talent host, Nick Canon, is presumably pregnant with her first child. Carey nor Cannon have denied the pregnancy rumors, but have dodged them by dropping hints.
Cannon has said that when the time is right, his wife will make the announcement. Carey has said that she is superstitious about pregnancy (most likely referring to her first trimester and her age). In the latest news, a good friend of Carey's purchased a baby book and had the author sign it, "Dear Mariah, Congratulations! I hope this helps you through the first three years" (Fox News).
Carey has also been photographed in maternity clothes, and some even claim to see a bump forming in her belly region. So why the big secret? Well, it's obvious that Carey and Cannon are trying to enjoy the news quietly and make it successfully in to the 2nd trimester keeping mom and baby healthy.
Cannon is right when he says that Mariah will speak up when she's ready. Since these rumors have been flying around for years and have intensified these past couple of months, Mariah may make a big announcement, or she may keep it tasteful on her website.
