Chaka Khan talks career, drug abuse, Mariah Carey
Legendary singer/songwriter Chaka Khan recently sat down with friend to GOT, B. Scott (of LoveBScott.com), and opened up about a number of topics. Among the highlights include the R&B legend candidly discussing her stellar career, past substance abuse and how she feels about follow diva Mariah Carey, who she says is a good friend of hers.
"Mariah is one of the few people that I love in this business and she's a sweet girl. I would suit up and show up for her. Now there are a lot of people I wouldn't do that for. She's one of the few, because most of my friends are people who work at the post office and at the bank. Just regular people."
Chaka Khan also spoke on growing up Roman Catholic, bragged on her 3 grandchildren (just like a proud grandmama) and even belted out a few notes from a Stevie Wonder song. (Gossip On This)
