Nick pranks the world about Mariah going into labor
Nick Cannon's very pregnant wife Mariah Carey is getting ready to pop, so Nick decided to make everyone think it was going down this morning. During his show today, Nick hinted that Mariah was in labor. While live on air this morning, Nick interrupted their discussion about the Yankees' victory, when he answered his phone. The only thing Nick said was, "Real talk, I gotta go, my wife," and left the station.
The next time Nick's was heard from was when he was in his ride, telling Nikki that he was on his way to the airport. Nikki screamed, "we're having babies?", followed by Southern Sarah Lee shouting, "congratulations", and Nick answering back with a simple, "thank you".
Nice, Nick. Before the show was through, Nick had not only fooled his team, but had also fooled MTV, actor Matthew McConanughey (who called in to the show today too) and the queen of all media, Perez Hilton, who posted the story about Mariah on PerezHilton.com.
Nick returned to the show, interrupting the last talk break, when the prank was revealed to his crew and the listening audience. Immediately tweets of the prank reached Perez Hilton, who was none too happy. (92.3 Now)
