Isreal reviews (56,143) by Leigh from USA The reviews seem to be somewhat mixed, but as the day moves on there are many more positive than negative. YouTube has a number of the performances posted now. It does look like a slow start, but once her voice was warmed up sounds like MC ended up slaying the 12000+ crowd. When searching Israeli news also ran across this little article which may not directly be related to MC, but definitely indirectly would affect all of us. Take a look here. Seriously? (55,855) by Leigh from USA I honestly read the posts on this site just to make sure I get my daily dose of "lmao in disbelief". I have repeatedly been a proponent of "everyone's entitled to their own opinon", but those who are posting anything positive about this remix (except maybe Mariah's small bit part) really need to find the biggest cup of STFU and drink it silently. I really thought I tuned into a bad rerun of Star Trek where the Klingons had tortured Mr. Spock so badly that he had succumbed but could only respond in superslow song asking "Why you mad?" I felt like I couldn't get out of a recurring apocalyptic dream where people were trying to flee the aftermath but were running in way slow motion but getting nowhere (probably why it ended so abruptly it was easier just to push the stop button and say forget it then keep going). It is almost like this "unofficial release" was so awful that it is intentionally so. And if so, maybe ths intention is directly related to the upcoming appearance on Empire. Now that would make sense to me. The changeup tempos are perfect backgrounds for the drama disclosed on the show and it doesn't make sense that MC would want this released as a remix only song. Unless it's to serve another purpose. Too many leaks maybe? O for that my only thought would be possibly linking it to the episode coming up on Empire. I don't know we go. High school reunion (55,797) by Leigh from USA I agree with those who suggest Mariah's comments are faint hearted and more directed at TMZ to help them get off the dime. What I also believe is that it really would not have mattered whether her response was contextually or politically appropriate to the question, the answer was no and regardless of how she answered that, her response will be construed negatively simply because she is Mariah Carey. Think of it this way, if she simply said no, people would still be forming opinions out loud like, "Oh she probably thinks she's too good for something like that." Bottom line, she played her response to gain the offensive (strategically) and doesn't need to waste time defending what people may have read (most likely incorrectly) into a simple "no" response. HWOF (55,735) by Leigh from USA I know it was Mariah's day and way overdue, but it was definitely Roc's "walk of fame". Truly all boy and what a little hellion. I am unsure how much of the stream is playing on YouTube and elsewhere, but the live stream started without sound far before the ceremony began and from the moment I saw Roc on camera it was going to be all his. I almost fell off my chair when they finally got started. That limp that Mariah had that looked like a scene played in the movie where the hunchback of notre dame summoning Igor was because Roc was actually attached to Mariah's entire leg from her thigh to her ankle all the way to the podium until she peeled him off (as most moms have) like a banana peel. The star tribute was awesome, but the interactions Mariah had with her kids, the affection that was reciprocated between them, and the manner by which Mariah was able to display her love for them while maintainting her professional poise goes beyond words and points out why that star is hers. Outstanding. This is why she does what she does so well. When you love something that much, you can make it look effortless. (Thursday 6 August 2015; 4:30)

I've been to 2 county fairs, a goat roping, and a pig fornecation but I ain't never seen anything like this (doesn't sound as good with that substitute, oh well). It's a forum and unless you all know each other personally (like have met face to face) wth would you personalize things here? These are opinions about other people's skills and talents. Sharing here stimulates thought and obviously other opinions, it doesn't mean I'm right and you're wrong. It just means we can agree to disagree without getting offensive toward the commenter. But looking at pics from HMC's TCA 2015 summer party MC is once again highlighted in the thick (no pun or insult intended - was reviewing this post and almost changed that, but given all the comments I didn't because it means nothing to those posts and still lmao) of things. Her directorial debut should be fun and challenging for her. Wish MC all the best in this new chapter. Also I guess JLo and Taylor probably don't consider HMC current. Oh I guess they have to wait and see. Just kidding. I can't picture either one of those two in a directorial debut, but I do admit JLo is one heck of an actress. Go MC. Really, although I am sure the support from her fans is appreciated here, MC should be the only one who takes offense or not at someone who is attempting to describe - in their opinion - how he or she judges someone else's physical appearance. I am sure Mariah could give a flying you know what about one person's narrow minded opinion. However, with that said, I don't know MC personally, but she is a person with feelings just like most of us. I think the internet and the information age has provided a whole lot of cowards who would otherwise not say (and most likely should not say) shit (oops did I say that out loud) if they had a mouthful, to anonymously attempt to bully others while gaining a false sense of power when they would most likely run at the first "boo" yelled their way. I say though, let's please not chastise them for this without reminding them first to please try to treat others as you would like to be treated. And then if they continue, well... let's just say I wouldn't want to be them running into this group in a dark alley. Still lmao. Everybody smile today MC gets her star. IBT from 07.08.2015 (55,397) by Leigh from USA The first show of the July leg in Vegas, I was fortunate enough to attend. I must say, I was deeply concerned when MC sang this song early into the show. I hesitated posting it, in fear that any hater would pick up on it that would only foster more haters to comment on it. But then I stopped today, and thought, Mariah Carey is truly one of those elite professionals who, even with this one hiccup in the first show in July, moves beyond it to sing her heart out and give what became the beginning of a great come back in this Vegas residency that does nothing but get better with time to a point where she has proven her superb ability in her vocal range and finesse that is almost untouchable by others. getting better. She made it through the first round but is neck and neck with Chris Brown's fan club (really?). With the lead changing between them all the time. It's going to take a lot more of MC's fans to keep her in it though. Mimi L (55,268) by Leigh from USA I couldn't agree with you more and the "unknown" factor will always be that variable that will keep us guessing about what to expect next from her and her team. One huge unknown are the details of her current 2 years contract with Caesar's and exactly how much freedom she will have to be creative. Since her shows are yielding successful results, I doubt magament will allow her to change things up much. IMO, but depending on time constraints between this leg and February with the Beacon and the movie, I don't think it would be impossible to sneak in a new song or maybe a new cover without any publicity prior. Trying something out on that audience in Vegas is a great testing grounds again. IMO as I suggested in my earlier post thoughost, it has to be created and performed from MC's heart and soul. MC songs that were very popular with others but I don't like them at all with my supporting arguments? WTF. This sound like junior high debate. Besides the fact that some people need to get off their couch, open their front door and breathe. Compared to world hunger and peace or whether the arms embargo will be lifted from Iran [...] about my song preferences. I love MC's music, but shouldn't we be looking ahead and maybe provide support for success in the future? And I don't mean pointing out the obvious flaws (I am sure MC is aware) or "wish for collabs with others" like seen on other forums, but give honest, constructive input and just maybe someone might hear or read the info and put it to good use. Personally, I am not a bit concerned about MC because she will write and sing at least one more #1. And it won't matter how old she is, how much she weighs, her ethnicity, or what she looks like, as long as she writes and sings it from her heart and soul. That is how she created [...]. O.k. Vegas concert tonight (55,155) by Leigh from USA Just got back to my room, and I must say I expected a little more. Naw just messing with you. It was awesome. She started a little edgy and admittedly her voice did crack one teeny time early on, but she really killed it otherwise. The whistlenotes were right on and didn't sound labored, especially when she can hold the last one so long at the end. But it was her lower register that floored me. She really used it well tonight. For once, I will get to see and hear first hand whether [...] is on her game or not and will be able to provide a first hand opinion of her voice and the show. I am going into this with expectations that her voice has matured with age, but even at that, there still ain't no one who can touch her when she's on it.
