About Ian from United Kingdom: Been there since day 1

MC (77,102) by Ian from United Kingdom
Haven't been on here for months and it hasn't changed, people acting like they are Mariah's P.A., people defending bad performances, her poor life choices, will check out for another few months and come back to the same. Lol.

Re: The truth (77,095) (77,101) by Ian from United Kingdom
I have to agree, she hasn't been able to hold a tune for a long time now.

R.I.P. No words.

Ages? (75,313) by Ian from United Kingdom
OK, let's get real, I need to know how old you are, don't be scared, we need to know the age of MC's fanbase.

Re: Mara, Licia, Special K - Till the End of Time (75,027) (75,312) by Ian from United Kingdom
When I hear "Each and every night I pray you'll come and save my life" it takes me back to a time I cannot even explain. Over 25 years later he did come back and save my life, but I can still feel that moment.

Re: Everything Fades Away (75,057) (75,311) by Ian from United Kingdom
I can't believe some people are not feeling this. One of her most honest, beautifully sung songs and Will Downing is a complete bonus.

Re: Questions / fan favorites (75,066) (75,310) by Ian from United Kingdom
Would have to agree apart from I'm That Chick. And I remixed "infinity" (Sordid Soundz) I did my best. Lol.

Re: Songs you don't like that are fan favourites (75,071) (75,309) by Ian from United Kingdom
I have to disagree, Till The End Of Time is my go to track when I need to feel. "Each and every night I pray you'll come and save my life" has been my ultimate lyric of all time.

Re: Never Forget You (Radio Edit) (75,083) (75,308) by Ian from United Kingdom
Love this remix. Remember when I got it from Sony Head of Urban UK (Mr Rippley) and I was in heaven. Takes me back to a good time.

For The Record.

Everything Fades Away is one of her best songs ever, Will Downing, an inspired choice for that track.

Class. I Loved this song. Luther connection too.

I get it. I feel the same.

Nothin ever stays the same... oh sorry, it does (73,837) by Ian from United Kingdom
Haven't been on here for a month or so, have been busy producing an album for a summer release. I have been busy with my own life and so have been avoiding all MC news and stuff and you know what? I didn't miss a thing. The same crap is going on, it feels like I was here yesterday, must say though, not worrying about MC making a tit of herself every other day is quite nice. Album drops Summer. Ahhh. Real life.

Vision of Love at Jimmy Kimmel (72,803) by Ian from United Kingdom
So, finally built up the courage to watch the Kimmel performances and have to say I was pleasantly surprised, it wasn't perfect but overall it was one of her better performances of late and hopefully we get more like this.

Video (72,083) by Ian from United Kingdom
So the video is out there for everyone to see. I watched it a few times and have to say it's worse than I could ever have imagined. She looks uncomfortable, as I was watching it. It's trashy, she looks like the most unsexy porn star ever. Video actually made me like the song less, I think maybe the trick is to listen and not watch. As I'm writing this I can't get some of the images of her playing with herself out of my head. It's just wrong on so many levels and I'm actually wondering if straight guys find this sexy?

Andrew (71,320) by Ian from United Kingdom
OK. Here we go. Can we all just get real and all agree Mariah was a great singer/songwriter in the 90s, Stella is a c**t, she has been lipping for most of her career, her voice is f**ked, she doesn't care any more and that bride should get her money back. Oh yeah (and I never thought I would ever say this), Andrew seems to be one of the few who actually makes sense on this board. Like myself he is a fan, but is sorta kinda "keepin' it real" I'm glad I'm old enough to have seen the Daydream, Rainbow and Charmbracelet tours (I even enjoyed the Sweet Sweet Fantasy gig, for the nostalgia, but being front row shows all the discretions). My husband slagged off MC over the NYE incident and for the first time I didn't have the strength to cover for her, I simply told him I loved her as a singer songwriter but didn't like the person much. With age comes wisdom (kinda).

Glitter Bluray (71,122) by Ian from United Kingdom
So, just got my Glitter Bluray from America. Good news is that it plays on UK player. And that's about it. Go to menu and the options are: 1. "Play". That's all folks, no extras, trailers, music videos. Nada. Disappointing to say the least.

Marie Osmond (70,728) by Ian from United Kingdom
She may be a cheesy hasbeen but Marie Osmond got it. She's been around the block and has probably been in this situation before and knew that there is nothing can be done in this situation.

Re: Article: Mariah Carey team: Here's what really (70,727) by Ian from United Kingdom
Thing is the monitors were probably bass heavy, no mids, no highs, so they could feel the beat.

Professional? (70,563) by Ian from United Kingdom
Being a professional, what should have happened is...
1. If her monitors are not working, speak clearly through the microphone and say "Stop the track."
2. Put on a smile, tell the audience there are some technical problems and hopefully someone will sort it out.
3. Start doing Emotions without the backing track and try to get the audience to sing along giving her and the engineers a bit of time to sort out the problems.
It ain't rocket science.

Re: World's worst manager (67,640) by Ian from United Kingdom
Love how everyone is all over Stella. Let's get real lambs. Mariah is her employer. Who is the stupid one?

Why? (67,639) by Ian from United Kingdom
I haven't been on here for a while, I have now realised why. Mariah Carey was an amazing singer/songwriter, it's now a car crash/pantomime and not a very good one. It is no longer about musical content or talent, it seems to me about selling a very crass, tacky brand that most people don't care about, she might as well marry a Kardashian or even Trump, that would get headlines. That's what's important, yeah?

New track sampling "Someday" (64,899) by Ian from United Kingdom
Martyn, you are a star, this is what it's all about, got this a few days ago from Spinnin' and I'm loving it too. Forget about the ensembles, the big hair, short skirts, it should be about the music.

Hate speech - hypocrites (64,890) by Ian from United Kingdom
G.G., I don't know if your message was meant for me or Martyn. If it was for me then I should let you know how I feel. I didn't like the generalisation that all of the gay community are alike, we are a diverse group and as someone from that community I could give an opinion and just as Mariah doesn't comment on every event/disaster happening around the globe, I don't feel the need to drag every racist idiot on this site. Does that make me bad or a racist? Hold on, let me ask my black husband. He says no. Also just because Andrew also comes from the UK doesn't mean he's my "little friend". I've never actually met him.
