About Gee from U.S.A. (New York City): Me and Mariah go back like babies on pacifiers.

Somewhat Loved (98,185) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
The song Somewhat Loved was originally written back in 2012. She even mentioned on Twitter that she had written the song when the twins were babies.

Caution deserved better (98,150) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
Caution was a step in the right direction musically in my opinion. I understand that Epic released WY because they wanted to MC to appeal to the AC audience again. The single choices should have been 8th grade to represent the ballad side. A No No to represent Top 40/urban radio Caution to represent pop radio and Giving Me Life to represent R&B, and hip hop formats or the distance for R&B/hip hop radio.

Sun article (98,103) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
I tell you anytime Mariah's name is brought up most people are so quick to believe the BS. Lambs are also included because so many of them swear that they know Mariah personally. I knew that the article was smoke, and mirrors based on the sauce. This is the same source that has paid her ex-siblings for stories. Also MC, and Hov have always respected each other so I knew that this was a fabricated story from the jump, but I appreciated Mariah's response to the nonsense.

RocNation (98,092) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
Obviously Mariah worked with Melissa mostly during tenure at RocNation, who she has a great relationship with when Melissa served as an assistant, for her manager at the time Benny Medina. I believe that when Melissa decided that she was taking her talents over to Rage, I believe that Mariah decided she would follow based on the work that they have done together, and results that she was obviously pleased with. I doubt the story that The Sun published is that credible. I also believe that MC and Hov still respect each other greatly, and they have no bad blood between them. Just my take on the management situation.

Somewhat loved (98,078) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
According to a genius these are the credits for the song. Written by Mariah Carey, Terius The Dream Nash and produced by Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis, and Mariah Carey.

Somewhat loved (98,070) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
Now all of the guessing can be put to rest the song is for Jimmy, and Terry's project that they have been working on. I believe that Babyface is apart of the project as well. I liked the snippet can't wait to hear the song in its entirety. MC is actually considered the feature artist on the song.

Def Jam (97,884) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
Def Jam just like every major has been go through restructuring, and changes because the music business itself is in a free fall because of the changes in technology, and how people consume the music. Labels are not spending as much as they once did because the money is not coming in as it used to. Only a handful of today's pop stars are actually selling records everyone is better be thankful for streaming because without it a lot of these pop stars would be in trouble even the ones getting major praise, and AirPlay besides Taylor, and Adele who actually put up major numbers with, without streaming.

Epic (97,883) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
To those who are unaware MC is not on Epic anymore, and has not been for quite sometime. She quietly moved from Epic to Sony. Her representation for her label is Sony/Sony legacy for her back catalogue. But all new stuff is released strictly through Sony Music Entertainment/RocNation.

Album rankings (97,487) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
Album rankings are a matter of personal opinion just because a fan prefers one album over another that does not make them wrong, or less of a fan. Personally some people on this board need to relax, and let loose because we all have things going on outside of the message board that consumes us. This should be our place to escape the serious things that we deal with, and bring some fun as we discuss the woman who brings us all together as the family that we are. Be blessed, and stay safe Archives family.

Melissa (97,259) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
Melissa has decided to take her talents to another company where she has become partner. Mariah has decided that she wants to continue to use RocNation as her management team. She and Melissa have parted ways on amicable terms as she has left comments on Mariah's IG post showing her love.

Mariah (97,169) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
For those who want to miss her, tune Mariah out. She made it clear that the conclusion of MC30 would resume in 2021. As for the new album: she has not dropped any hints as to who she is going to work with. Jermaine is not the only person who lives in Atlanta who she can work with. Daniel Moore also lives in Atlanta, also his wife is pregnant, and is expected to give birth. Also JD, and B.Cox are both in LA right now working. There are many other great artists, and producers who are in Atlanta for MC to work with. But I am sure that she will clock in some studio time with her main people at some point. But allow her to get some creative ideas flowing first before we dismiss the final outcome.

Walter (97,150) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
Based on the interview with QuestLove I gathered that while Mariah is grateful for the experience, and the success of their work together, that chapter in her life has been written, and she would not like to revisit it when it comes to working with him again.

Supreme interview part I and II (97,137) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
I can honestly say that I enjoyed both parts equally. Yes she made mention of the book throughout the interview but it did not bother me at all. I appreciate that she was able to be herself in a comfortable setting amongst people who she could trust, and who understand who she is. Even with the extra commentary I was entertained. Bravo to Mariah for being so open, and to QuestLove and company for allowing her the space on your platform to be able to express her thoughts, and feelings so freely.

QuestLove Supreme part 1 (97,122) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
I throughly enjoyed this interview. I can not wait for the second part. I love the extra commentary, and I love that MC was relaxed, open, and free to speak her thoughts.

MC 16 (97,118) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
I will just say this, as long as MC works with people who understand her vision and can help create a great body of work that allows her artistry to shine, I will be satisfied.

The Apple special (96,806) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
I actually watched the Apple special once it was available, all I can say is that I love it from top to bottom. Mariah has given so much of herself to us this year and she has done an amazing job. I also love the 2020 version of Oh Santa all of three of them held their own without doing too much. This special is the true meaning of fun, love, and joy. Thank you Mariah for being the amazing gift that keeps on giving. Happy holidays to the entire Archives family, and many blessings of great health, and peace in the coming year, and beyond.

Morgan (96,708) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
Morgan has nothing else to do with his time but file a lawsuit every chance he can against MC. Funny how he and Allison have made a career out of selling stories to the tabloids at any cost. As far as burning bridges when comes to Allison and Morgan, Mariah has tried to mend fences with them, she has even paid for Allison to receive treatment multiple times, and just as Morgan helped her when she was struggling to make a name for herself, she has extended the same hand to him as well. It seems to me that now that they can no longer get their way with Mariah financially they sell stories, and file lawsuits against her just to hurt her. I am just glad that MC was able to find unconditional love through her children, her nephews Michael, and Shawn. Her industry peers who she remains close to, and last but never least her true fans, and supporters.
