Well hello guys, long time no see. We are on the cusp of a new Mariah era and I am incredibly excited. I see that most of you guys love the new single, but I am a little disappointed. My main gripe is really not enough Mariah, which was a problem that I had with Triumphant. Miguel's song are notorious for being short in length and I respect that, but this song is a duet and I wanted more. They could have included a b-section or something. There is not enough "oomph" to Beautiful, which is a shame because it has so much potential to be this crazy successful pop summer anthem, and they watered it down. On the upside, how many of you guys are lusting over Mariah's vocals? My goodness, she sounds so good on this track. The blended background vocals in the middle of the song are so Emotions era and '90's. She hasn't sounded this good in years. So, all in all I'm eager to hear new singles and the new album. I'm very excited for this era.
