All I want for Christmas is... (79,608) by R&B Junkie from Poland
"Where I Belong" to be released. I don't know how a man can be addicted to a 10-second low quality sample on YouTube, but I can't get it out of my head. Mariah, will you make my wish come true?

Random songs (72,153) by R&B Junkie from Poland
It's interesting how sometimes some songs show up on iTunes charts all of a sudden. Today we have Makin' It Last All Night at #14 in Saudi Arabia and Crybaby at #49 in United Arab Emirates. How do you think that happens?

I Don't - I do (72,047) by R&B Junkie from Poland
I really do love this (except for the YG part which is too long). Lyrics are on point, the production sounds fresh not dated, the general melody is fine too. Plus, I can relate to the lyrics, so this cut lands in the alley of songs that describe my life and my feelings (i.e. Breakdown, Did I Do That, Slipping Away, Skydiving or Shake It Off). I like the ideas of omitting whistles and belting this time. I can easily sing along to this cut, what rarely happens in case of Mariah's songs. I don't mind if the video will be tacky since I'm here for the music. Also, I'm glad it's not the WBT part zillion. I love her early 90's work, but I became a fan when she already turned hip hop. I'm one of those people who prefer Butterfly LP and Chanteuse over Music Box or the debut one. I appreciate that she does this kind of R&B when many turned to EDM. She said between the lines in some interview in 2016 that she has enough of awards and number one songs, but I enjoy the fact that the song has a great run on charts internationally so far. It bombed #14 in Poland where she is not loved that much as elsewhere. God bless her and all of you, Lambs.

Why recreating WBT? (71,766) by R&B Junkie from Poland
I've been listening to Solange Knowles' "Losing You" and I wonder why they keep on trying to recreate WBT. I know it was the song of the decade but it is not the best song that Mariah has delivered in her career. Y'all should check out Solange's effort: there is happy funky tune mixed with sad lyrics - isn't it similar formula to what MC did with Fantasy? They did great job with You Don't Know What To Do, we know it failed because of various reasons, but they better put all their forces into Fantasy pt. 2 at least if they want to do some pleasure for me.

What happened to YT? (70,710) by R&B Junkie from Poland
We Belong Together jumped to #1 in Hungary and Slovenia, #4 in the US and Top 20 in some other countries (source: kworb.net).
Any idea why?

Re: Lionel Richie on Facebook fans attack Mariah (70,163) (70,168) by R&B Junkie from Poland
I've been there, on Lionel's profile and I'm devastated. So many people throwing so much hate towards Mariah's participation in this tour are in reality throwing this towards Lionel. It is sad to read messages such as "I love Lionel, but I can't take Mariah so I won't go". It smells like hating your best friend's another friend. A completely converse attitude to what we can learn from Lionel's lyrics.

Re: AIWFC (69,978) (69,985) by R&B Junkie from Poland
Well, last year it was at #18 before it moved to #11. However, last year the airplay tracking week ended on Sunday, December 27, so I guess it's going to be harder (but not impossible) for the song to be charted higher this year since the airplay week ends on December 25.

Re: AIWFCIY (68,789) (68,803) by R&B Junkie from Poland
Well, November of 2016 has the biggest number of YouTube viewers of all Novembers since the video has been published on YT. Maybe it's due to gaining access to the web around the world or the song gets more attention as it gets old. Looking at Billboard charts I guess it's rather last thing.

Re: Glitter the album / MCIIY (68,382) by R&B Junkie from Poland
1. Fabolous' rap in "Last Night..." is one of the best thing that happend to this album. His verse is outstanding. I love almost the whole album, this is a masterpiece. The older I am I appreciate it more and more. Funny how my love for "Rainbow" or "TEOM" somehow faded thoughout the years (no hate, they're just overplayed and need to rest for some time), but upbeat jams such as "Don't Stop" or "If We" or "All My Life" still have huge rotation.
2. Merry Christmas is a classic album, it is perfection. Vocals are better than on Music Box and only one step behind Daydream. However, as a conscious music listener, I prefer MC2Y. All those orchestrated songs are meant to be listened to during that special time of year. Any time of the year. The production and arrangement of instruments are better than on Merry Christmas. I cannot stand the fact that the album went unnoticed. CTIITAA would be a hit in adult radio stations (in Poland, I don't know how it would work in US) if only had better promo. This album almost had no promotion here (heavy airplay of "All I Want..." every year does not count - BTW, people think this is a cover, not an original song penned by Mariah).

Changing the topic... (67,568) by R&B Junkie from Poland
...for a while. Can anyone from Hungary explain me how come "Get Your Number" exploded to #17 on iTunes? Is it "National Get Your Number Download Day" or something? I know it's not that big market and sometimes in our territories some songs can land very high on charts all of a sudden, but still.

Re: Pop battle (67,382) (67,385) by R&B Junkie from Poland
I hope you're not talking about changes towards the EDM "ish". My wish is that Mariah will release a jazz-oriented album. Or maybe some record that will bringing back the Motown golden years? Or can you imagine songs like The Roof, So Blessed, Underneath The Stars and maybe some modern yet still classy R&B track (e.g. Dedicated) put together on one album? She does not need to prove anything, she should let her imagination work. Furthermore, she has always praised the Hip-Hop culture, but there is no album in her discography showing love for this stuff - I mean without schmaltzy and cheesy ballads. I love them all, but they're over 80% of her catalogue. I love MIAM so much because she delivered two songs that are one of the best uptempo recordings in her career.

It's Bryson Tiller's song that contains portions of Shake It Off.

Video to old songs (67,211) by R&B Junkie from Poland
There is a video for "Underneath the Stars" but no one knows where. It should be found and released since this song is one of the most praised by critics. People would also love that old-school vibe.

If We (63,047) by R&B Junkie from Poland
I'm here to tell you all that the bass line of "If We" is one of the best of Mariah's catalogue, it fits the beat perfectly and add some funky feeling to the song. Period.

I saw an angel on Monday. The angel was singing just like the music came straight from heaven. I'm speechless until now, I'll tell you more when I put myself together. I love you, Mariah.

Me. I am Mariah (61,203) by R&B Junkie from Poland
I just wanted to show some love for the abovementioned release. So sad it's her worst selling album. In my personal opinion this one is one of MC's best albums. Honestly, the album is body of work and when you listen to it from the first track to the last you enjoy it even more more than the separated album cuts on your daily playlist. My favorite tracks are Dedicated, YDKWTD, #B, Make It Look Good, You're Mine and Faded (lol, that's almost half of the album ). Great lyrics, raw vocals, supreme productions. I love the fact that she used some live instruments during recording this. The violins in You Don't Know What To Do are just heaven-inspired. The most important thing is the message included in Dedicated. Just can't stop loving it.

Someone said here that Butterfly was the best thing that happened to earth. I totally agree. Plus, my love for "The Roof" is endless and unlimited. Almost 20 years later I still discover new details in it and this is fantastic. I love you, Mariah.

Art vs. statistics (59,990) by R&B Junkie from Poland
First, I have to admit I am not a radio-listener, I rarely look for new songs on the mainstream charts and I do not read music magazines. Still, I am a music lover, and that's why I want to thank you all for showing me such a great song as Rihanna's "Work" is. I like the overall production of the song. Maybe it is not my favorite music style, I have to be honest, but it is a good song, it feels so good to know it exists. Does it deserve to go to #1? I don't know. I can name some MC's songs that, in my opinion, shouldn't have gone to the top of Hot 100 and name the other ones, which definitely should have reached #1 (e.g. It's Like That, Beautiful) but unfortunately they haven't, and my life isn't any kind of different (meaning worse) because of that. Please, stop hating Rihanna for achieving success. I guess some of you would want Billboard to end their chart with #2 spot, just to prevent other artists from beating Mariah's records. Records are to be broken. Worse statistics shouldn't be linked with worse art. I am truly satisfied by all the music Mariah has released in recent 10 (or more) years despite the minor commercial success. Peace and love, you all.

Easy songs (59,031) by R&B Junkie from Poland
Neither We Belong Together nor Touch My Body are easy to sing because they both require sophisticated breath control. I don't know if there's any song that is easy for me to sing since I am not a woman and I don't have 5-octave range.

AIWFCIY (58,755) by R&B Junkie from Poland
This is disgusting. Some of you'd wish that the label could discount the price or James' people would dowload the song dozens of times just to inflate it to top or #1 spot. People's number 1 obsession should be banned here. Don't you remember all the criticism when Loverboy was disocunted years ago and went to #2? That should've not happened and I hope will not happen in the future. AIWFCIY is a classic, and classic things do not need to be artificially lifted on charts. Speaking of future relases, I want to hear good quality track with great lyrics. I know she will not go for EDM, because she's stated she hated it, plus the fact these kind of music is frequently being overproduced, which is what critics and true music fans hate. My personal dream is to hear some jazz/blues-oriented album. Or gospel. Or funk. Or anything that has soul in it. Looking at her recent catalog I can see some signs she would do that and that would be fantastic: #Beautiful, TAOLG, CTTA, 100%, Almost Home, Cry, Languishing. Beautiful sounds with a throwback vibe, yet modern at the same time. Yey, I forgot about the "Christmas in N.Y." that she freestyled recently. I love it oh so much, go Mimi.

No doubt which song is her biggest hit in Poland - it rose to #14 on Polish Airplay Chart [week 11/12-18/12] like it does every year. I think that Polish fans wouldn't mind if she could perform it during April concert in Krakow

Re: Don't Stop (56,611) by R&B Junkie from Poland
Maybe it is not one of my favourite Mariah songs, since her parts are limited only to chorus and bridge, but surely it is one of my favourite songs of all time. I love the lyrics, the sample-based production and the general melody. Every time I play it on a party or elsewhere, everyone immediately starts bouncing or even dancing. I remember that Polish division of MTV had the video on huge rotation from the day it was released until the end of MTV "The Music Television" ended.

Poland iTunes (52,427) by R&B Junkie from Poland
I want fans from Poland to show up here like right now. Infinity went to #5 (so far) on iTunes Polska, where are all of you who made this happen? I swear I bought only one copy , and matter the fact the song went to top ten without any promotion here. I like the general vibe of the song, I've got so many people around me who deserve to be given with this masterpiece and this ain't no compliment. Thank you Mariah for bringing in another life-saver
