Why? (37,864) After releasing one of her best lead singles ever, Mariah had to spoil it with the video. The songs popularity just went downhill after the video came out. Come on Mariah, why? In this day of Vevo, your music video should be interesting, not a striptease. I am really tired of having to defend her all the time when she comes across this way. You are a classy lady with millions of record sales. It's time to finetune the image. It is getting really tired at this piont. Great songs like IBLULT, HATEU and a lot of your other songs were ruined by their videos. The world fell in love with you because of your voice, not your body. Number one (37,402) I think Mariah at this stage should not be looking for another number one song. She should be aiming for number one albums. What makes a number one album? An album with a general theme of ballads and uptempo groovy tracks. We need a masterpiece from Mariah at this piont. An album that is filled with tracks of substance not tracks that are aimed at the top ten, which is full of garbage these days. With an album well produced, the singles will progess naturally and take of. Almost Home is a great return to form for her. With ballads that have an edge and are innovative her voice will soar. I heared an album cut title "Hope street". I hope it's included, because it feels like something great. I feel we as fans are a bit too hard on Mariah. Who is she compared to Mariah? What experience does she have to judge singers? One album rereleased twice and she thinks she is on the same level as Mariah. Nicky feels very inferior in the presence of Mariah and she should. You so called fans of Mariah should stop taking sides with Nicky, it doesn't tell well. New music (37,167) What's up with the new record? We are not used to waiting this long for a Mariah record. I hope she delivers this time. Her last two albums have been really underwhelming. Just beacause you are on AI doesn't mean you should come out with an average sound. Now is the time to remind people why you are MC. All those rnb hip hop tracks should be discarded, we need fresh retro sonding rnb. I feel Mariah has been stuck in a hip hop rnb rot. New Mariah (36,362) Why is Mariah so bent on releasing hip hip tracks all the time? It's really getting tired. If people think of hip hop, Mariah will be the last name on people's minds. Please Mariah, make music for your fans, not for yourself and your friends. We want that voice and sound that made you what you are today. Big uptempo numbers and piano ballads. Epic ballads without that hip hop bass beat. It hurts me to see your songs suffer in the charts. Please release a song that will be a smash before people start to punder on it. This is very easy to achieve, because you already have the fans, we just need good music from you and clean classy videos. We know you are more than capable of this. Respect (36,069) Mariah is the most critized singer ever. If she tones down her looks, it will be she's not pretty. If she glams up, it will be she's showing off. Same goes for her music. I remember back in the day when Music Box came out and people were like it's too filled with ballads and it's boring and she oversings. This new song is starting to grow on me, yes it's no Fantasy and yes it may not get to number one, but come on guys, be respectfull to Mariah.
