About Jonathan from United States: I'm 17 and I've loved Mariah since birth. My mom said she would have to constantly play the Merry Christmas album to calm me. Mariah saved my life when I had some really strong problems going on in my life and then Through the rain came on the radio as soon as I turned it on. I know Mariah is an angel at least my gaurdian angel sent from up above.

Re: Mandela effect? (68,661) (68,681) by Jonathan from United States
You're tripping or you simply misheard the lyrics which everyone has done before. It has always been "I'm so 3008
You so 2000 and late".

Mariah's makeup/hair (63,567) by Jonathan from United States
Hey guys I know I rarely post but trust me I lurk on here everyday. I just wanted to say i'm honestly just waiting for Mariah to fire Kristopher and Stella as her hair and makeup team and hire Anthony Elliott. I think he would have to change his style a little to fit Mariah but I'm interested in what he could do. I'm a guy and I really know nothing about hair/makeup but this man's transformations are incredible to me. Check out his Instagram and YouTube. Also he does natural hair because I can't really recall Mariah rocking a wig unless she does sometimes and I just don't notice but I think she does wear weave at times. I don't know so let me stop but I dream for the day she comes out with short hair. Maybe she can test the waters with a wig.

Re: Superbowl (59,023) (59,024) by Jonathan from United States
Ok I thought of the second person. Prince, George Michael, Bon Jovi or Paul McCartney. Any of them I feel would be great although I can't picture Prince being in a setting where he isn't the main attraction.

Superbowl (59,023) by Jonathan from United States
I know Coldplay and Beyonce are doing this year's superbowl performance but I would love to see Mariah do it with Boyz II Men. Of course I believe Mariah is perfectfly able to headline and have two guests like everyone else before her but I think her sharing half the spotlight with B2M would please so many people. It could be a tribute to 90s R&B or something since it's very popular now. First Mariah has been singing her hits so she could sing all her 90s hits like half of her fans have wanted for so long and B2M can do the same. Then at the end they could do OSD. Mariah could go on vocal rest for a month and practice her beloved Honey moves. It would reintroduce her to so many people. Now if she were to ever do the show on her own I would need all of her hits, 90s and 00s. Plus I would want her guest to be Jay Z and someone unexpected like a rock legend or something. What do you guys want?

Reflections (Care Enough) almost always brings me to tears because I think of my father.

December 5 performance (57,934) by Jonathan from United States
Apparently Mariah is performing at Busta's Christmas show along with many others. Crossing my fingers for a performance of the Honey remix since Diddy and The Lox will also be there.

Re: Speak up more (57,899) (57,901) by Jonathan from United States
I completely understand what you are saying and I know it's an act but I just don't want Mariah to end up like Marilyn or other legends. Misunderstood and not appreciated until after their death. Maybe that's part of what makes them so legendary. You don't realize what you have until it's gone. I guess the good thing is in 50 years Mariah will be in almost every teenage girl's room. Also what makes you think "Chanteuse" is as personal as she is going to get right now? Just curious on why you think that, not attacking you or anything.

Speak up more (57,898) by Jonathan from United States
I really wish Mariah would take a note from Viola Davis or some other stars and just open up about her backstory. We know the basics of her life and how being biracial affected her but we (or I) don't know what has trapped her to live as a 12 year old girl. Is racism the reason she is 12? What happened with Alison and Morgan? She can speak on how they affected her. Tell us more stories of the "wayward child with the weight of the world she held deep inside". The girl singing Outside and Close My Eyes should reveal alot more because it would make her more personal and could help more people then she thinks. I know the issues she had in her life are what caused her to stay 12 as a defense mechanism but I want her to be 45 now and just open. Whether she chooses to do that through music or interviews doesn't matter although a personal album would be great. No more being elusive and 12. Sometimes the greatest things come out of being bare.

Empire (57,290) by Jonathan from United States
I think Mariah will play Lucious Lyon's sister because when they flashback to Lucious as a child he looks mixed and Mariah is mixed. I think she may be his Alison in a sense. Mariah knows what it is like to be famous and have family issues so maybe she told Lee her story and he felt inspired. The role would be totally opposite of who she is and show her acting skills. I think it may be too personal for Mariah to act out on television but at the same time the only people who would connect the role to her life would be lambs. She could go by Dande Lyon (catch the Petals reference and pun). What do you guys think?

Gospel album (57,220) by Jonathan from United States
I was listening to Mariah's faith based tracks and I thought when are we going to get a gospel record? I want her back on the charts so her focus should be on pop, r&b, whatever but as a side project I want a gospel album. It would open her up to some older fans again and it could do really well in the gospel world considering she is Mariah Carey. However, if she does a gospel album I'm going to need all new songs and maybe a collab or two like with CeCe Winans or Mary Mary.

Tamar Braxton / Mariahisms (57,045) by Jonathan from United States
Tamar was on the Wendy Williams show today and she referenced her son as a preschool dropout. I thought it was really cute since she is a lamb and has adopted some Mariahisms. Mariah is truly iconic lol.

Bras? (55,922) by Jonathan from United States
Forgive me because I'm a guy but does Mariah wear bras? I'm sure she probably doesn't when she wears the revealing dresses but like when she is covered in a t-shirt or a nonrevealing dress. I know that boob tape exist so does she use that?

Johnny Gill/Mariah mash up (55,921) by Jonathan from United States
Have you guys seen this mash up of Johhny Gill's My My My and Mariah's You're Mine? I wish they would properly collaborate.

Deedre (55,596) by Jonathan from United States
Exactly. Some would even argue that Mariah's best albums were when she "wasn't relevant".

She is still relevant (55,581) by Jonathan from United States
At my job they only play the top 40 stations with the occasional country station depending on if my boss is there and they played three Mariah songs. They played Alone In Love, Fantasy, and Heartbreaker. It wasn't a throwback moment or anything. They just threw it in there with Ed Sheeran and Nicki Minaj so I think Sony is doing something right by getting Mariah back in the publics intrest. You might expect Fantasy or Heartbreaker but Alone In Love completely took me by suprise. 2015 is Mariah's year. She looks great, Vegas went great, Beacon coming up, making two movies, new music, starring in the loney island movie set for 2016, rumored song with Madonna, Katy, and Britney (I don't know how that would sound but who cares) and a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. What else does she have up her sleeve?

Another idea (54,220) by Jonathan from United States
I thought of this while typing the last one. For anyone who thinks the stripped idea is too much how about a show where Mariah finishes her hours for beauty school. It could be sort of a competition show. She could compete with regular beauticians or she could have celebrities. I mean people love food shows so how about a beauty one.

Damage control / stripped (54,219) by Jonathan from United States
It seems that everyone loves a good reality show or docu series so why not give Mariah one? My idea would be to strip Mariah of almost everything in order to make her appeal more to the public by getting rid of her diva persona which the general public doesn't know is a joke. It's similar to Undercover Boss yet Mariah wouldn't go work for her own companies but for others doing minimum wage jobs. Just picture the diva working in McDonalds. The public would eat that up. It would show Mariah in an extremely positive light and I would like to see it on OWN. It would also set her apart from other celebrities because when they need public help they always do charity to win them back but Mariah would become the public in this case. She could do about three different jobs over the course of two months and I would want her accounts frozen so she would only have the money she earns from her job. After she could go on talk shows and give this big spill on how she comes from humble beginings and she seemed to loose touch over time so she took a spiritual journey.

Satirical TRL video (53,281) by Jonathan from United States
I know some lambs get offended and become defensive easily when it comes to Mariah especially when someone alludes to the Glitter era but I found this video to be funny and all in the spirit of fun. We all know Mariah's story and just how serious her case was however this was not meant to be taken literally at all (it's satire) so please do not attack me for this.

All women on the new album (50,135) by Jonathan from United States
I would really love to see Mariah do an entire album only with women from the writers to the musicians. She could work with some of the top women right now and someone who is a diva. I want her to write a song with Pink or Kelly Clarkson since they both look up to her and I know it might be far fetched but I want Mariah to write atleast one song by herself. I know she can't piano that well which is why she needs a cowriter but I want her just to try atleast once.

Broadway? (47,040) by Jonathan from United States
I just thought, Mariah loves singing and she likes acting so why not Broadway? If she doesn't want to be in a show about something else then she could star in one about her life or get someone to play her although I would like to see her tackle an actual character. Just picture it, Glitter or the Christmas movie that may happen on Broadway. She could even do one based on MIAMTEC since it tells a story like Greenday did with American Idiot. Even if her acting sucks people will come because she is Mariah Carey, but my only concern would be could her voice handle it? Any thoughts?

Grammys (46,988) by Jonathan from United States
Since the Grammy cut off is in a few days, here are my predictions for Album of the Year:
Prism - Katy Perry
*Beyonce - Beyonce (they love her)
Me. I Am Mariah... - Mariah Carey
In The Lonely Hour - Sam Smith
Ghost Stories - Coldplay
The Marshall Mathers LP 2 - Eminem
I hope Mariah atleast gets nominated but we all know the Grammys can be shady to her and their credibility isn't what it used to be. What do you guys think? Also would this album be considered for the Pop or R&B category?

SUBR (46,789) by Jonathan from United States
I am going to Southern in two years and the fact Mariah loved their rendition of Thirsty and wants them to play on tour is awesome. My parents met there and Randy Jackson went there so yay for my school. Only a few people in Texas know of it.

KeShawn (46,267) by Jonathan from United States
Mariah should do videos for the whole album since it tells a story and release them. Not like Beyonce but more Marina and the Diamonds style because Electra Heart and what she did with it was genius.
