About Isabelle from USA: Been a LAMB before I even knew it.

Mariah's new team (51,573) by Isabelle from USA
I'm glad Cindi is out. She wasn't even doing a proper job. She let rumors just grow rather than squashing them. She only released statements when the media asked for it, rather than going straight to the media to put out a statement, like she didn't when she said she dropped Mariah. Plus she wasn't Mariah's publicist during the TEOM era and look how that turned out to be. When pictures of Stella Bulochnikov with Mariah began appearing, I wonder who she was, she sort of gave out a "Sam Lutfi-vibe". Did anyone else sort of got this feeling?

Should Mariah have more Grammy Awards? (49,838) by Isabelle from USA
Recently there was an "article" in Billboard where they compiled all the Grammy nominations in where Britney Spears has gotten. And has gotten me thinking about the 5 awards from 34 nominations Mariah has received. Which categories do the Lambily believe Mariah was completely deserved to win? And which albums and singles was she snub to get a nomination. I feel like she was snubbed to get a nomination for My All (live) for Best Pop Performance and Butterfly for Best R&B Album.

Duets and covers album (49,358) by Isabelle from USA
I don't like that most of you all are suggesting that Mariah should be doing a duets album of previous recorded material or that she should release a compilation of the duets she recorded in her career. I think that's just a waste of time, no one was really here for the two remixes on MIAMTEC/Angels Advocate singles nor they the Ballads compilation album. I don't think Mariah should be thinking about creating any type of duets covers album anytime soon, if she does I would like her to have original material for that album, so people and critics won't be just comparing and then criticizing her version of the song.

#1s re-release and about Glitter (49,222) by Isabelle from USA
I'm assuming that Mariah owns or co-owns her master recordings under Universal, reason that her name is next to copyright and sound-recording copyright symbol is with the label she is signed to. So she wouldn't really need Universal's approval to go ahead with this project. I really don't like the idea of other lamb's suggesting she should add demos of the songs or newly resung songs versions of her #1s because she done that with Hero. I want her to save her those demo versions or resung to her studio albums re-releases. The content in the album should be the 18 #1s with their music videos, her decision to keep or not the non-number ones hits from the first release along with the newly recorded music and have a documentary or commentary of her songs. I was looking around and found an article in NY Times about how Mariah basically received all 100% of profits that Glitter made by them paying her to dissolve their contract with her. It also says artist would no longer receive another dime from their music even if all investments are paid off that's why artist some money upfront when doing contracts. No wonder she never acknowledges that Glitter album. There could have also been re-recording restrictions.

Lee TS / Bill from UK - demo (48,775) by Isabelle from USA
It's fake. If you got to that girl's social media pictures she posts blurry pictures of her alleged family and none are with her. Tommy only has four children: Michael and Sarah with his first wife. Bill, the demo that Mariah passed around did have VOL but it was a rough and unfinished version. I think that she deleted that pic because people noticed her lie. But I do with she would re-release her debut with the demos and her recording sessions for the 20th anniversary of the album.

My opinion on the current situations (48,353) by Isabelle from USA
I think this is a reason why Mariah chose not to tour the US. The American media are notorious for just reporting the negativity about situations examples the Mike Brown and Eric Garner coverage. It's nice seeing that a lot of artists and celebrities are defending her performance. Now that her Christmas concerts are coming up, I would like her to start rehearsing, every other two days so she could record her self and listen to her performance and figure out what she needs to avoid or work on. Now that the 25th anniversary of her debut album is coming up I would like her to re-release it with the demos she had recorded and other material and with that she could submit it to the Grammy's hoping they nominate it for Best Historical Album.

Wendy's transparent lies (48,003) by Isabelle from USA
You know Wendy be lying when she said Mariah Carey wanted to do her show. Isn't odd that she announces it the week when Andy revealed about it in his book. Wendy would have said something about it long time ago then. And why would Mariah want to go to her show for the first place? To promote what? Mariah's album previous release date would have been during when Wendy's show would be on its summer break. Plus was she planning on promoting something she would have ended up going to Michael and Kelly, The View or The Talk are really supportive towards Mariah. Wendy is just looking for something to drag Mariah to make herself good.

The age thing (47,442) by Isabelle from USA
Have you people ever thought that Mariah doesn't like talking about her actual age so people would discourage her music and stuff. Ageism and sexism in the music are big impact for women in music. You never hear male artist trying to avoid are being discussed about their age because it doesn't have a major influence on them trying to sell music. When Mariah tries to do a type of music that is on radio, people start bring the age thing. And when somebody like Jay Z, who is the same age as Mariah, people don't say anything or mention anything about his age, like they do to women.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (47,381) by Isabelle from USA
I was looking through different sites to see if they have mention Mariah not being nominated for Hall of Fame and found nothing. Then I saw some site that has group of artists that yearly eligible for nominations and they Mariah for eligibility for next years round of nominees with the ceremony held for 2016 for the inductees. That sorta confused me a bit. I always thought that that if an artist got to be inducted to the Hall of Fame on their first year of eligibility it would have been on the 25 year career anniversary not the following year. Thoughts?

The Elusive Chanteuse Show (46,686) by Isabelle from USA
I been listening to some live performances from Music Box tour, Daydream tour, Butterfly tour, TAOM tour and the Australian tour. And I feel like Mariah needs to get some new arrangements for some of her earlier work for this upcoming tour. Hearing Mariah struggle a bit in her Heartbreaker medley during the TAOM was worrisome. I think she needs to find the right arrangements for songs that would be suitable for her to perform live. She needs to let her backup singers do what they are hired to do. She tries to sing every run in her songs. Her trying to perform the more up-tempo versions of Heartbreaker or Fantasy would be too much for her to do during the tour. I see her best doing the Heartbreaker/Love Hangover/Junior Mix medley would be great for her to perform because it's not that fast paced. Also doing new instrumental arrangements would be great as well. Have you all listened to the LBCK remix of Emotions? It makes it feel brand new but it has the stays true to the original. The arrangement she gave Shake It Off in 2012 was great, she needs to do something new for WBT, every performance she has given for that song has been the same, the beginning reminds me of Patti's Love, Need and Want You everytime I listen to it.

MIAMTEC Grammys? (46,629) by Isabelle from USA
I think that MIAMTEC has a slim chance on getting Grammy nominations. With the new restructure of the Grammy categories it looks like she may be facing competition with Beyonce for the same nominations.

That TRL moment (46,551) by Isabelle from USA
Why do the media like bring up the TRL moment over and over? As I watch it 13 years later it doesn't seem so over dramatic as the media would have made it. If it was Katy Perry, Beyonce, etc. doing that surprise appearance they won't have said anything negative about it. Mariah worked endlessly that made her have a breakdown during that time. Plus she had her breakdown before her movie and album came out and the media are always to assume that she will have another breakdown for bad album sales. There is more to life than album sales.

Looking for the signs (46,306) by Isabelle from USA
I believe that their marriage was in trouble before Nick started name dropping in a interview. Mariah has repeatedly been mentioned that she didn't like Nick talking about their personal stuff to the public. Mariah was asked by the Breakfast Club back in February her plans for Valentines and she said that Nick wasn't going to be home. If Nick close sources say that he feels that Mariah wasn't emotionally stable and the environment was toxic for the kids then why is he taking many gigs and not their to help her out or be with his kids. I think that his close sources are trying to paint a better picture for Nick and portrayed him as the victim of the relationship. They also said that Mariah is surrounded by "yes men" I sorta believe that. I think the reason why Benny Medina was fired was maybe due that he didn't approve of Mariah and Nick dating. He was fired around the time she started seeing Nick.

Theories of Mariah decline (45,480) by Isabelle from USA
There have been tons of theories about why her music career has declined. One of them is Nick Cannon, ever since they announce their engagement Mariah's music started to windle down. Nick Cannon made Mariah's personal life into an open book. The thing that people were curious about her was her personal life, now that Nick Cannon speaks about it, it may have turned people off. The second hasn't become a visual artist, such as Beyonce, Rihanna, Madonna, Katy. Mariah's visuals from music and concerts are sort of lacking. Current artists are using visuals to get people's short attention span, making them feel like they are watching more than just a music video or concert but a film. Third has to do with ageism/sexism, many radio programmers have said they don't want to play women of certain ages because they feel like they would be able to bring the enough advertisers and listeners to stations if they play them on their station. We don't longer live in a society where we would have to call in to stations so they can play their music on the radio because we have different other sources to listen to our music. Which would effect an artist like Mariah wouldn't be able to reach out new audiences to her music.

Re: mariahcarey.com (45,445) by Isabelle from USA
RJJ12: her website is not run by her record label. Plus Lotion, LLC was on the credits on her old website layout. And Island Def Jam is nonexistent, both labels disjoined since April. I believe she is getting to start promoting this album already.

Re: Shelly, Mariah's style (45,414) by Isabelle from USA
Mariah was getting a lot of fashion advice from André Leon Talley during that video shoot. I wished she would have kept some that advice, she looked confident and glam. She should stop wearing long body-tight dresses all the time. She should have mix it up once and awhile, like they way she did back in '05-'08.

Lyrics (44,854) by Isabelle from USA
The site where I could find the lyrics for MIAMTEC is at Mariah Carey Network. They have all the lyrics for the album but It's A Wrap doesn't have the verses where Mary sings on, it's just the copied and paste from MOAIA.

Re: Bill from Uk (44,803) by Isabelle from USA
I know that some artist own or have to buy their master recordings, Prince who ended up buying them, Jonas Brothers own theirs, and a couple of other artist I forget own theirs as well. But I started to wonder if she owns her master recordings under Universal, because I have notice everything she puts out it says it's a division of "any label she has recorded under Universal" and Mariah Carey. It's not the same when she did releases at Sony or Virgin.

Question (44,786) by Isabelle from USA
Does anybody know if Mariah owns her master recordings under the Universal? I know that she doesn't own her master recordings with Sony, reasons why there so many compilation albums of her.

Re: G.G., Raphael and Lee (44,734) by Isabelle from USA
G.G. that article was such a mess. They are basically saying that she should be making the same type of music that JLo is doing with her music, yet JLo is in a deeper hole than Mariah speaking music wise, but JLo has a good team for getting her good publicity but not good music. I don't even think that those former music execs even heard the album, they just went along with the reviews. Mariah about having hits no more, she wants people that appreciate the art of music to listen to it. And she has said that if she was following music trends takes out the fun of creating music and inspired her. Raphael, she already done a song with Pitbull but good thing it was never released. Lee, you shouldn't be worrying about what Billboard has to say, they have become an industrial publication and when that happens they opt to go to the highest bidder, they have been shifted from being a all-music publication to a celebria plus music media corporate. They are like the MTV of the music industry.

Re: Tiina and Nikki, "Selling Out" (44,709) by Isabelle from USA
I don't think that Mariah is selling out with these business ventures. For me, being a sell out is to stick their name on a product that already existed and taking a check out of it. She gets involved with the development of the product, she's not the Beyonce, JLo, Katy, etc. type of artist that you see selling out to corporate companies that get their money from letting them use their music as jingles for commercial, on television and movies or the artist themselves putting companies products on their music videos. The only song that I have heard that was used as a jingle was AIWFCIY, but isn't all of Christmas music used for that? Plus, you don't see Mariah's music being used on television or films because she doesn't want her music to be just known for those things, that's why Glee isn't able to sing an original Mariah song, so they have to go around it and do a cover of Mariah cover song. Mariah has done deals with some brand companies like Pepsi, Pinko and Jenny Craig, but she used Jenny to inform the public about Women's Heart Disease.

That rumor Christmas duet (44,519) by Isabelle from USA
The Broadway World article is not true. They just copied and pasted an article from a online troll that bashes Mariah, Lady Gaga, and other artists. Mariah is not working with the character from Frozen nor working on a possible third Christmas album. Buzzfeed wrote an expose about that troll. This is a reason why journalism and media are becoming lazy and not checking their sources to see if they are reliable.

Attack of the blame game (44,496) by Isabelle from USA
Some of you all are complaining and blaming Def Jam not promoting this album properly. With the mess that Island left them with they are clearly doing their best on promoting this album. The only thing that they are not able to promote this album properly is on TV. Most shows have went to summer hiatus. Promotion is scheduled is planned weeks or months ahead (ex. Letterman/Today Show/Time Square). The album would have great promotion if Mariah wasn't such a perfectionist, she would already had the album on May 6. The only thing that her label should be blamed is for the album not being released altogether worldwide and Jermaine knows this why would he retweeted that article from a fan journey to by the album. Others are blaming JD for his management skills, but he can't make Mariah do things that she is not willing to commit. He is the one that produced two of the stand out tracks that critics are enjoying. The only thing that can save this album is a hit single and Mariah willing to put effort. With the current state of the music industry, for her moving to one of Sony's labels will be a blow to her music career. She would be promoted as much as she should be promoted less of a indie/upcoming artists, having to her adapt to new A&R, it's not like she is coming back to the same record label that it was in the 90s with the same people she worked with. Plus L. A. Reid is the last person she needs to work with, he was the mastermind that influenced her to take Idol and the singles of the last two studio albums.

The Mariah Carey special (44,399) by Isabelle from USA
To me the Mariah Carey special was okay, but it could have been better. I wished Barbara Walters didn't retire so she could have conducted this interview instead of Matt Lauer. He didn't seem to care about the interview, most of his questions were some that she seemed to have answered in previous interviews and some looked like he just wanted an one word answer from her. Barbara would have asked her completely different questions. Who knows Barbra could have made a reference to BGK. The whole special was edited poorly and there were too many commercial breaks. They would ask her like one questions then it moved to a performance/video. The way they shot her performances was very bad. They moved to a different camera angle every 3 seconds that made your head hurt just by watching. At least we got to see her perform songs from the album instead of from her catalogue.

Mariah the visionary (44,336) by Isabelle from USA
I wish Mariah would have done something similar to that #Beautiful single disc to her album. I think people would have bought the album physically because of that. I haven't bought a new Mariah physical album since E=MC2. I was kinda disappointed about the lack of input in her booklet. I still have mixed feelings towards MOAIA, I felt as an album it didn't feel like a solid record and basically there was no song that stood out the most even though the songs were great. I'm happy I opted to buy the digital format of MIAMTEC. I can't understand how the media tends to downgrade Mariah's work. They keep putting her down, saying things like she is trying to follow trends just to keep up with other artists. Lets be honest Mariah has been working for the last 4 years on this album and started reworking this album just last year. Before Talk Dirty/Problem were hits she already worked on Money, before we ever knew about Beyonce's songs Blue and Yonce, she already recorded Supernatural and Dedicated. I feel radio has abandoned Mariah due to the fact they don't want her to break the Beatles record even though she is the best artist to do so, that's why YME never took of in radio and #B couldn't make it to the top ten.
