About JAXGH from United States:

I swear (72,674) by JAXGH from United States
If Mariah lip syncs on Kimmel, I probably will be so sad for her and all lambs still fighting for her. How disastrous of a karma does she need to wake up? Please don't lip sync Mariah. Some people are still rooting for you. Please don't disappoint. I think fans deserve to see an all live performance on tv. Please just one. we haven't had one since Petals on Rosie's show in 2000. I honestly feel so sad about that. (Please correct me if you know of any all live tv performance after that.)

Jake Nava / Mariah's videos (72,482) by JAXGH from United States
Mariah needs to work with Jake Nava again. "Shake it off" is hands down her best music video. I don't know if his fee is too much or the filming process is too strenuous but she definitely needs to work with this guy again. The cinematic touch, slow panning (you actually get the story line), the smooth transitions, great set and props, amazing actors: Da Brat, Chris Tucker and the cheating guy were all on point. (Does anyone know his name? He's cute lmao I know it has an "S" but I forgot it.) Anyway you get what I mean. Jake Nava also directed "Single Ladies" which tells you a lot. Mariah actually got recognition for her Shake It Off's music video. It was nominated for an MTV Music Award (which is what she has always been longing for). It did lose to Beyonce's "Check On It" though. I call bs, that video wasn't that great. I think Mariah just needs to get recognition for her videos, she really doesn't get much for it and it sucks. Thus why she stopped trying after I'll Be Loving U Long Time. She had some confidence and effort in "Up Out My Face" but that single wasn't even paid attention to, it just faded and really didn't exist almost. Anyone here who comments on Stella's accounts or who ever's connected to Mariah, please remind her about Jake Nava. Banging song, banging promotion and a banging music video. You're set for success. "I Don't" music video is clearly done by YG's connection. It's the same as all the other trash rap song's videos. It's a bunch of random ass B rolls and horrendous acting. Mariah needs to just sing along to the song while filming (it will be dubbed anyway) so her miming looks more real. She lip syncs in music videos and it looks kind of bad. Even for the preview of the song when she was at the studio, I was cringing. I mean I know that's not the actual recording of it, but at least try to make it look real.

MC copied Whitney and Aretha's runs (72,332) by JAXGH from United States
Saw this post by Morgan. He posted a song by Christina and someone commented "ultimate betrayal" and that Aguilera, half the time sounds like MC, then he went on to argue that Mariah copied Whitney and Aretha's runs. What a shame. He truly isn't for Mariah. I know that conversation won't be viewed by anybody. But even in the smallest ways possible, he likes to make Mariah look bad and unfavored, to people he personally knows. I know artists emulate one another. That's a given. But he makes it sound like Mariah didn't create her own sound. I can argue that she's probably the most influential female singer of all time. Some of Mariah's inflections may have sounded like Whitney and Aretha's but she definitely has her own thing. When you hear her sing, you think Mariah. This is Mariah. You don't think of anybody else. But when you hear Christina and Ariana, you automatically already hear and think Mariah. The execution, the register of the voice, the runs, the feeling, are all styled like how would Mariah sing it. They literally mimic her. The truth is Mariah was inspired by Whitney and Aretha, but she worked her butt off on her range to its full extent, to produce sounds she can only make, while Christina literally just bites. There's a huge difference.

What's gonna bring in the ratings? (71,180) by JAXGH from United States
"I wanted it to be more serious, and yet they chose to go another direction which felt very reality TV and that's not my bag." Where is this Mariah? I can't believe Stella somehow managed to lure her into doing this "docu" series. What a shame. Mollie's mess, Tanaka being injured (we never saw happen) the other dancer being injured (we never saw happen) the fight between Anthony and Mary Ann, the nanny "not bringing" her passport (we never saw happen), Stella and the hairstylist feud, are all sensationalized bullsh*t. Everything about the show is staged. They are all cool with each other in real life. All of them knew they had to act once they signed the contracts. I was cringing when Anthony said "for some reason, Mariah and I's chemistry is off tonight". Lmao how much faker can you be. His line delivery is atrocious. To be honest, knowing that this was all a set up, you can kind of judge who's a good actor. Mary Ann's good, Stella's good, Mollie is bad, Anthony is horrible. This show didn't prove anything. It was just a roll of stupid drama that never mattered and didn't help to show Mariah's credibility as "the hardest working woman" in Hollywood. It's just a series of unknown attention whores (Stella, Tanaka, Mollie, Kristofer) wanting more fame. Mariah did them a favor but Mariah's brand just cheapened when this nonsense show happened. You can't expect people to see you as a great talent when you do a reality show and pretend it's not a reality show. Mariah is not discerning her reality at all. I just want this series to be over and Mariah do something more helpful to career. Her name is synonymous to "lip sync" now. It's so sad.

Humble Mariah (70,979) by JAXGH from United States
Yeah I really kind of miss when Mariah was cool enough to say "yeah you have some people on here with incredible breast, and I'm not one of them" while laughing. (Howard Stern interview.) Just a random thought.

Now that I looked deeper (70,809) by JAXGH from United States
It seems to me that they did that on purpose. I think when they found out that Mariah has some background tracks to sing along to and some parts to lip sync, they took advantage of it. You can't help but think that since Mariah's performance is the only one that didn't go smoothly. It also could be just someone from the tech team that worked with Mariah before (tech people jump from one company to another, all the time) and has something against her personally. Whatever it is, it's definitely choreographed, you can't say it'll be fixed when they go live and then it's not, then celebrate the fact that everyone's cringing at her and not go on commercial. That's absurd. It screams revenge. This thought came to mind when I was browsing through the local news and they posted about the performance, this one guy commented (I'll try to do it word by word): "This is Karma. I am so happy this happened. I used to helped produce music videos and had to work for her in 1997 in Honey, she was so full of herself and was so difficult to work with. Also I've been waiting to say this: but she demanded that all videos we shot be down sized so she looks skinnier." He was genuinely celebrating that Mariah was humiliated and mortified. Which speaks to me that some people she's worked with before is still seeking for revenge. I really wouldn't be surprised if the mastermind is someone from DL's tech team, and had some sort of connection from the tech people in 2014 Rockefeller. I mean they're all connected since they work in the same department in the industry. Or it could be someone that Stella had a problem with before that we know nothing about. I may sound a little crazy but someone out there hates Mariah and is continually seeking for revenge.

The Truth (70,665) by JAXGH from United States
Mariah knows she will sound bad if she can't hear herself. All singers absolutely loathe not being able to hear themselves because they have no judgement if they're doing well or not, if they're in tune, or sounding flat. She didn't risk it, so she just didn't even sing. Because if she started to sing (without hearing herself), she'll sound obviously relatively bad and that will give haters more power to say "she can't sing anymore". She was just mortified through out the whole thing, she messed up the intro and that probably stuck in her mind and probably already embarrassed (her mouth didn't match Auld Lang Syne). It was a major giveaway. Even the way she talked, you can tell she has no judgement, she just sounded like she's mumbling words. I still think she could've been like "Stop. Stop I can not hear myself." Apologize to the audience, have a diva moment whatever, until she can hear it. Screw the time frame they have for commercials, she's already screwed over by the tech team, but she also screwed the tech team over. All these people are probably pissed at her. Mariah is the only one that didn't attend the tech rehearsal, everybody else came so everybody else's performance went smoothly, except hers. Everybody's ear piece was working, except hers. See a pattern? The tech team devote the time of day to rehearse despite it being a holiday and being away from family but Mariah's lazy ass decided not to even bother and send a double to rehearse for her (****** ridiculous, maybe this double should've been the one that performed lmao). That's what happens when you think you're too "good" for rehearsals and waste people's time. They start to dislike you and let you suffer for it. The in-ears not working is no incident, they purposely gave her a broken one. Mariah may be the biggest "star" there but that gives her no reason to be unprofessional. Even new comers like Fifth Harmony came to rehearse and took their performance very seriously. It's a shame.

Karma (70,573) by JAXGH from United States
I've said this before. All things done in evil will come to light. She's been faking those notes since 98. I thought she's fully learned her lesson in Jamaica but the lies kept going. Now the whole entire world actually knows she's a phony. Please don't give the "oh well she's not the only artist that lip syncs", Mariah got through most of her career miming. And that's unacceptable for a "real" singer. I dont even feel bad for her. I just feel really bad for the lambs. The ones who wholeheartedly devote their lives to Mariah, and they get this. That performance hands down beat all the lip syncing bust in history. I pray Mariah wakes the f*** up. This is the hardest karma that ever hit her. I remember when she was saying to Howard Stern, "Don't ever accuse me of not singing ever again" when in fact she was miming the chorus of "My All". She's deep down in the lies. Mariah, wake up girl. Stay away from the splashes, train your voice and start giving us 100 percent live performances. For the sake of your legacy. For the sake of your career.

Re: Beyonce and JLo can dress trashy and it's ok (70,275) (70,283) by JAXGH from United States
It's Mariah's boobs that separates her from the other 2. She flaunts that sh*t like it's her last day on earth. B's and JLo's are actually real so it's not too visually stimulating. It gives you that "wow those are nice, what a beautiful natural woman" thoughts. While Mariah's abnormally ginormous. B And Jlo are also athletes, they have toned bodies. People see more than just boobs. They dance and work. So they're seen as "strong" and fighters. While Mariah just lays on a sofa. With her tig ol bitties hanging out.

Mariah's attempts (70,282) by JAXGH from United States
Mariah doesn't know how to brand herself out. This blog thing she's starting really isn't gonna make people any more interested in her. Stella if you're reading this, buy a $500 dslr camera and hire an artistic, stellar photographer who will essentially be in charged of Mariah's social media. Who's also great at editing pictures. Stop trying to make your 12 year old in charge. She has no photography talent whatsoever. I look at Mariah's instagram and cringe. Horrible framed pictures, uneven filters and lame old, skanky, uninteresting shots. No one wants to follow who encompass these. It's sad how Kim K's instagram is a lot more beautiful to look at.

Re: Carpool Karaoke (69,980) (69,986) by JAXGH from United States
I hate the face she made at very end of the video. She seemed perturbed or something. I'm a little disappointed with the energy she put out, everybody was all smiles, playful and silly but Mariah is so damn stiff and probably irked at the fact that she didn't sleep enough for this again. Have you noticed her demeanor? Or do you think it's because of "uhh other women are gonna be singing with me"? Or maybe the producers had originally made it a solo Carpool Karaoke but decided to make it a compilation since Mariah is lifeless and bland. Lol.

Re: Giving the people what they want (69,042) (69,066) by JAXGH from United States
By all means Mariah has became the queen of sensationalism. The public really wouldn't take a look unless it's drama. I truly believe she's living by her words "forget the image, forget the short skirt, whateva". It's crystal clear. She's just going with the flow. I don't think she has any intention on fixing her image. And if she does, it really wouldn't change a thing. Even through her records, you can feel Mariah is a good person. But then again the public doesn't care about that. I agree with all you pointed. At this point, Mariah is just doing as much she can, while she has the energy and before her fresh looks slip away. She's 60 before you know it. This show will be quite interesting as it is co-produced by her, drama galore with comedy skits, throwback moments and real life endeavors. She was also talking about her biography intimately. People will attain better comprehension of Mimi. To me it feels right she's doing it, finally a platform where she has complete freedom and control, to show people her true self behind the scenes and what she's really all about. Hard work, laughs, drama and fun.

Re: Cruise Control (68,978) (69,009) by JAXGH from United States
I love Cruise Control. It's the most played song from E=MC2 in my library. The harmonizing at the beginning had me sold out. Living in Hawaii, I can't even explain how appropriate it was to play that song. The island reggae vibe, the theme of the song, the vocals, the style of her singing. I play it every beach trip or grocery trip, actually I just play it all the time. Some of my friends are also surprised Mariah f***s with the island sound.

Re: The next way to go (69,004) (69,008) by JAXGH from United States
Yeah I think Mariah definitely needs to work with new producers. I know she's working with Jermaine again, but who knows maybe Jermaine has also grown and kept up with today's sound? Today's R&B has a lot of deeper bass and strong bold instrumentals that really hit the bones (Don't by Bryson, From Time by Jhene) with chill voices and not so much vocal performance. Much like "it's 2:11 and I'm stressin, watching tv in my hotel suite". The production and the bass of that part, sound a lot like today's rnb. But the singing was definitely 90's (has the brandy vibe) Mariah performed and harmonized with the sound and layered (a s*** ton) the rest of the song. But she's definitely capable of doing today's style. She's actually done it before. Maybe it will be quite hard for her do strip down to one voice as she is the queen of layered and background vocals. But with the production, I think she knows what's hot today and what's not. I'm still excited for the 2017 Mariah sound. I'm sure it'll innovative. And I have a feeling it will have a touch of how Babydoll was done. But 2017 style. Lol.

Re: Favorite AIWFCIY live performance (69,003) (69,006) by JAXGH from United States
Yeah to me that will always be the best performance of AIWFCIY. I listen to it more than the actual version because she sounded prettier in Daydream and knowing that it was live, it made me appreciate it even more. Done in one take. It's the most authentic and the cutest as well. She was actually done with the show but she decided to do AIWFCIY because it was such a big hit in Japan, also a big thank you to them. I also really like the acoustic version of AIWFCIY. It's such a gem. Just guitar and pure vocals. There's also some extra vocals and some scatting at the end (very rare). Even though they say this was the original recording Mariah did, to me she sounded like it was done in the Day Dream era.

Shoutout to the lamb who predicted the leaked pics (68,951) by JAXGH from United States
Lmao that was good. I swear some lambs are just that prophetic. Sorry I have no time to scroll down to see it was who but I read it somewhere and damn you are good. You know I actually dig Tanaka as a person, I've taken some of his classes and he's very professional. Inspiring as well. He really will push you. Character wise, I see why him and Mimi would get along. But it's just so weird knowing that he had actually fooled around with Mariah. I guess she got sick of being called a gold digger and being with Shrek. She made sure the next one made 1 dollar per hour but looks like God. Or maybe who knows maybe she really genuinely likes Tanaka. He is a likeable person. Just waiting for Nick now in Wild N Out, to make fun of Tanaka's Japanese penis and ginormous net worth. He already started on instagram lmao.

Stella messing everything up (68,799) by JAXGH from United States
I was actually quite happy for Mariah and James for a moment. They seemed really into each other, and James wouldn't propose to someone if he really didn't connect or find her special. I honestly think that the fling they had was all real. James most likely got over the publicity bullcrap he got involved with. Mariah said he's happy she's doing the show, but also mentioned he's a very private person (which again someone Mariah needs). James gradually realized the paparazzi photographing their every dinner, every vacation, him touching his breast, him dancing on her concert having a good time, all the crap that comes being with Mariah really aren't worth it. Now he allegedly doesn't want to be involved in the show which to me isn't surprising. A full grown man who has a business and an image to take care of would not want to be in Mariah's messy world. The sad thing is Stella see bad publicity as a good thing, and lets it keep happening. Not realizing it's also affecting people in Mariah's life. I'm happy for Mariah doing the show. It didn't even start but it already tarnished a business man's reputation and you can bet he's not happy with it. Mimi needs to get her management together. Stella ruined her chance with a really good guy it seems. I also wouldn't be surprised if she trashes James to Mariah. This whole situation is literally the same as when Kris Humphries realizes Kim Kardashian was not worth it.

Miss Monroe (68,797) by JAXGH from United States
This picture. I always knew Monroe would blossom into a beautiful young lady but I didn't expect it to be this early, she's so freaking beautiful. This close up shows so much of her resemblance to MC and Rocky. She literally looks like a princess with her gorgeous tanned skin and perfect curly hair. Her nose, her eye brows, her eyes. So beautiful. I never noticed how stunning she is, probably because her glasses covers it up and its always far from her face, pictures that's posted. But it's so good to see her face close up. She'll get even more beautiful as days go by. Her beauty really blew me away.

Re: Randy (68,780) (68,796) by JAXGH from United States
Right? It's really cool. It also cracks me up when people say her voice now has changed from her 90's voice. Not realizing, her voice has always changed, even in the 90's. (The biggest change actually took place in that decade lmao. Just compare her 93 voice to her 97 voice. There's such a difference. And growth.) I think it also because she sounded her most beautiful from 95 until 99. So people gripped on those era. But honestly I think her voice was also phenomenal on Glitter. Reflections, Lead The Way and Never Too Far were all vocally phenomenal. Each album you can really see where she is musically. It shows. She develops new vocals, new arrangements, new vocabularies, new ways of using her instrument and probably new ways of editing her voice in the studio lmao. It's awesome.

Re: Randy (68,725) (68,755) by JAXGH from United States
Just listened to those 2 lines. I actually think she sounded relatively alike, her voice in Honey did get more agile, a bit prettier, and more inaudible. Mariah's voice never really declined in her albums. Only on the live performances it did. Her voice has always changed, every album, there's always a subtle change. It's actually really bizarre. I mean if you want an example, compare the 1991 Grammy's VOL, to 1995 Madison Square Garden's VOL. Her voice progressively got more beautiful, it's almost as if there were 2 different singers. It's not even that she developed new vocals. It's just her voice really changes. And it always does, to this day. Give a real lamb an unreleased Mariah song and he would know exactly what album, era and year it's from, just basing it from her voice lol. You can't do this with Beyonce. A lot of singers literally sound the same from first to last album. For me, it's actually a gift to have such a voice that always changes. (A bit weird.) But always something new to look forward to. I think that's what makes Mariah's voice really special.

Re: Why Mariah is the way she is (68,555) (68,570) by JAXGH from United States
I thought she freaking sang at SSFT. Those belts are pretty on point. Her voice really isn't the same though. I get you what you mean. The damage is a result of her over working and bad habits. It's against the law for singers to constantly stay up all night. It shouldn't be practiced. She also drinks which again is a big no no for singers. I listen to her voice, she definitely still has the skills. Her glorious runs are there, whistles are there, belts are there, just the extreme high belts are not (We Belong Together, Honey climax, which she just blatantly lip syncs), the quality of the voice is not also not there. It sometimes sounds tired and dried up. But hey she's doing the best with what she's got. And it really isn't close to bad. Those Emotions intro and Thank God I Found You improvisations from Vegas are pretty passionate darling. It just varies honestly. Sometimes she performs good and sometimes she performs bad. One thing I can't wait to see from MW is the professional footage of her tour in Europe because she really did kill it. The camera being there probably got her bringing her A game. She also co produced it so you know she would make sure whatever makes the cut, is the best of her singing. It's also her really big chance to shut all the haters up, saying she can't sing (Rockefeller embarrassment). I can only imagine how mad Mariah gets when people say she can't sing. Singing is her life. I pray she doesn't dub anything.

Why Mariah is the way she is (68,516) by JAXGH from United States
In the beginning, Mariah was truly humble. And I feel she's the same to this day. I've listened to her 1999 The Lost interview, and the 2002, 60 minute interview, even her 2005 to 2008 interviews, there's always that bubbly, jokester Mariah. I think that her ways of showing how wealthy she is, is a defense mechanism honestly. Tommy probably shoved it down her throat, "you wouldn't own a dime, if it weren't for me". Now she keeps proving that she's rich, without him. Tommy made her career but also took it away from her. The media never left Mariah ever since 1997. When she released Glitter which Tommy has always been against her doing movies, also the very first time she released an album, not from Sony. That 80 million dollar deal was a slap to Tommy's face. Sadly it backfired to Mariah. Tommy put up a fight. He was determined to ruin her career. Glitter being a Sony picture release, he found a way to get a hold of the music and gave it to someone else. He pulled a string once again, before you know it the press is having the time of their lives, sabotaging Mariah. They always got away with it and to this day, they haven't stopped. Mariah was so under pressure, that there's no words you can even use to imagine the sh*t she was in, her career was on the line, the stress of the movie, having done the most expensive music contract of all time (people expecting it to be a hit), Tommy wanting her to fail, trying to prove herself as an independent artist, the sabotage, the exhaustion, the break up with Luis Miguel, that she literally almost freaking died. It was only then that it hit Tommy's conscience. Mariah could have been dead. That's [censored] up. It's a miracle she made it out alive from Tommy's revenge. And reading all these comments really makes me sad, this is the woman who literally put her life on the line for her fans, giving her heart and soul through the most intimate, personal, vulnerable way, her music. She's given us so much. Everything could've stopped at 2001. You guys realize that right? Mariah was so damn close to an untimely death. But the Lord favors her and has always been for her. I'm at the point where I am content. Charmbracelet, Emancipation, E=MC2, Memoirs and MIAM have been enormous blessings and I'm just thankful. If she wants to be girly, flirty, sexy, eat whatever, do a movie, do a tv show, do whatever type of record she wants, I don't mind. This is the girl that was forced to break up with her boyfriend at 18, wasn't allowed to collaborate with who she wanted, wasn't free to do the music she's really into, was forced to dress like someone who wasn't her in the first place, had her calls tracked down, was forced to sing a certain way, was obligated to work day and night, someone who didn't even truly experience the success of their prime (that now she forever longs for) and is still slandered and sabotaged heavily to this very day. You know I still wonder how things would have turned out if she chose Warner. Mariah was stifled on the most important period of her life (her prime), still suffers from her boss' wrath. If whatever she does make her happy, just let her be. At least she's living and making up for the life she missed. She did us proud with her music for 26 years, more than enough. Her legacy will always speak for itself. And I'm [censored] proud to be a fan, of one of the strongest, most talented, free-spirited, hard-working artist of all time. Miss Mariah Carey.

Mariah's family (68,108) by JAXGH from United States
I never thought the day would come where Mimi's fans would reference Mimi's mom in that manner. Patricia Carey worked multiple jobs and tried her best to keep her family afloat. She's literally the one who instilled that faith in Mariah. Always tells her to say "when I make it". Allison may have gone astray but that's none of Pat's control. Kids could be rebels and sometimes you can't stop them when they want to get away from you. It doesn't mean she didn't try her best to love her kids. Allison is the rebel out of the 3. Morgan was independent. Mariah was the intelligent one. You all have to realize that no family is perfect and their family was already facing harsh racism attacks from all corners of New York before Mariah even came to the world. Imagine eating dinner and someone just shoots a bullet to your window. Imagine going outside seeing your dogs and cats dead, killed by the people next door. Imagine kids purposely scaring you knocking on your windows (Mariah referenced girls would do this to her when she was little). Imagine getting spit on the face. Imagine every neighborhood you moved to, rejecting you. Imagine not being able to take any sides (not black or white). Imagine your own freaking family (Pat's side) disowning you. It would naturally put a strain in any kid's development. I can only imagine how much Pat tried her best to love and protect them, though no matter how much Pat loves her kid, they were still bound to struggle. But with struggles, comes blessings. They were given Mariah. All those years of tears, heartbreaks, having no permanent home, tensions, financial problems, turmoil, attacks and absurd cruelty. The Lord saw all of that. They were blessed more than they could ever imagine with Mariah. A girl with an extra ordinary voice who was meant to unite the music industry has had to have come from a dysfunctional, oppressed, multiracial family rooted in hardship. Mariah fulfilled that purpose and Patricia definitely helped her get across the raging river. So at least give her that credit. I honestly just pray that one day, they leave behind whatever happened, be a family for once and let forgiveness take over. I don't know how deep the wounds are but I know the Lord definitely has a purpose as to why Mariah was put in this family. I pray she realizes it, let love take over and just live with no enmity in her heart.
