Her voice is stellar, she sings her ass off still, not every occasion, but when the moment is right her notes are great. Her "dahling" stuff is just an act, she's having fun. She respects members of Hollywood that respect her. That's why you only see her on Ellen, Letterman, Fallon, Today Show. When she hits radio again [censored] will praise her like 1997 Mariah. I'm not delusional, I have opinions also but Mariah Carey treats her fans better than most artists. She genuinely cares. She lost the man she loved, she has a right to have fun/be a little thick. A true lamb knows that [...] Mariah focuses on her career. Her hand is still [...]. Gloves remind her of exercises she has to do to strengthen it. Nerve damage doesn't heal in a day and that's the [...] arm that has carpal tunnel I think. Andrew (47,170) by MCLAFAN from USA Thank you Abraham. You nailed it right on the head. There are countless times Mariah has blown us away and times where she left us feeling like "What was that?" But talent is talent. Abraham, do you think she hired someone who sounds like her to record the amazing vocal filled Merry Christmas II You album from 2010 or the most recent MIAMTEC album from 2014? You weren't at the concert in Tokyo, you shouldn't judge someone who obviously can still sing circles around the competition these days. I was just at her American Idol performance taping last summer and she recorded it live and did 3 takes and they all sounded amazing. Her voice is an instrument that needs care, she could've been sick, she could've just been having a rough vocal moment, we don't know. "Grown up fan" (44,840) by MCLAFAN from USA I'm a "grown up fan". I've been a fan since 1995 and would've been a fan since 1990 but my city didn't have any top 40 stations until around 1995. It says a lot about someone when they make assumptions about an artist without taking into consideration that they are real people with real lives and real problems. Do you all recall her talking about putting up that "wall" in the Matt Lauer interview? I think she's got some things going on right now and I will never assume or go off and a "tangent" about what MC needs to do or not do.
