Mariah Carey performed at a swanky bar mitzvah on Friday in honor of her manager's daughter. Mishka Bulochnikov, whose mom is Stella Bulochnikov, had her big bash at none other than 1Oak in Hollywood. The family rented out the club for the private affair, called "Mishka B's Epic Bat Mitzvah", and clearly didn't skimp on the luxury theme. The party reportedly included a 500 pound cake, and Mishka was given a Bentley golf cart as a gift.
Power 105's DJ Suss was on hand to emcee and spin tunes, and there was even a "mini Kanye" rapping. As for Carey, footage taken outside the celebrity hotspot shows the superstar didn't exactly know what "mazel tov" means. Inside, her appearance seemed to go over well.
And while the shindig probably cost Carey's manager hundreds of thousands of dollars, it's quite possible the superstar's upcoming wedding will rival it. The singer is also not the first star to lend her services to a bar or bat mitzah. As Gossip Cop has reported, Drake gave one girl the surprise of a lifetime back in February, and in April of last year, Nicki Minaj performed at an event and was actually hit on by the birthday boy.
Meanwhile, in 2014, Iggy Azalea had a wardrobe malfunction in her crotch as she performed for a bunch of teens at the same bar mitzvah where Nick Jonas also did a set. And before that, Austin Mahone sang at a bar mitzvah for the sons of a Republic Records executive. It's clearly good to be a kid when your parents have connections.
