Ashanti pulls out of Mariah tour
Scheduling conflicts have forced Ashanti to drop out of touring with Mariah Carey. The singer was due to open for her idol on Carey's Charmbracelet tour but when the pop superstar downscaled her dates and rejigged the American trek, Ashanti had to pull out.
She says, "It's kind of messed up because some things got a little sticky internally. It was nothing personal with me or her. She's a sweetheart. She is so cool. I saw her in Miami and we were both really excited about going on tour and doing the stuff together." (WENN)
