Medina trades one diva for another
Jennifer Lopez, who? Having been fired and sued by the diva, her ex-manager Benny Medina has landed on his feet by signing up Brandy and Mya, and possibly Mariah Carey, who met with him on Thursday night. "Mariah needs to reinvent herself and she was convinced Benny was the only man to help make her over," a spy in Carey's camp said.
But Medina's real source of income is the four television shows he has in production and a new product he has licensed: Cellboost, an auxiliary battery for dying cell phones. "When you are done, you throw it away," a source said.
Cellboost, found now in bodegas, drugstores, supermarkets and airports, came in expecially handy during the blackout, when Hugh Jackman, Macy Gray amd Jennifer Love Hewitt were seen using them after their cellphones had prematurely died. Medina declined to comment. (New York Post)
