Mariah tracks in mixing booth
Steve Hodge, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis are currently mixing two songs for Mariah's upcoming album at the Flyte Tyme studio in Edina, Minnesota. The songs, titled "Yours" and "Through The Rain", were written by Mariah herself, with the help of Jam & Lewis and James "Big Jim" Wright. Alex Richbourgh is handling drum programming, MIDI and protools recording.
"Through The Rain" is scheduled to be the first single release from the upcoming MonarC/Universal Music release, "Mariah", slated for a December 10th in-store date. As recently reported by AllAccess.com, the radio impact date for "Through The Rain" is October 8, 2002. A domestic commercial release for the single has not yet been set. Many thanks to Mariah Land.
