MAC Cosmetics, which is known for its exceptional collaborations with leading talents from fashion, art and pop culture, has teamed up with American pop idol Mariah Carey. The singer of My All, who has sold more than 200 million albums around the world, is presenting a makeup line that reflects her glamorous style.
This is not the first time that MAC has teamed up with Mariah Carey. Last December, the brand launched a "champagne shimmer" lipstick, dubbed "All I Want", which beauty addicts will be pleased to find is included in this new, more complete collection.
Everything in this make-up line reflects the image of the American artist. It has what you need to achieve glamorous smoky eyes with two palettes of four eyeshadows - "I'm that chick you like" and "It's Everything", which are composed of satin, frosted, velvet and pearlised browns, gold, silver and bronze tones (€44/RM203) - or to draw attention to the form of the eyes with a liquid brown-black eyeliner (€21) and two pairs of false lashes (€12 each).
Lips have not been neglected but can be transformed with a multitude of products. First and foremost lipsticks, which are available in matte cream and iridescent textures with chestnut, champagne, pink, and peach tones (€21). Then there are five gloss nuances for the brand's Lipglass texture (€21) and two Pro Longwear lip liners (€18.50).
For the complexion, MAC Cosmetics is showcasing an "Extra Dimension Skinfinish Powder" in warm iridescent gold dubbed "My Mimi" (€35), pastel pink and intense coral "Blush Powder" (€24.50), and "Poudre Libre" in shiny iridescent gold (€35). Two brushes also form part of the collection.
