Carey to act again
Singing diva Mariah Carey is hoping to repair the damage done by her 2001 movie flop Glitter - by taking on another film role. The New York native has signed up to star in a new flick called Sweet Science where she'll play a manager who recruits a young female boxer to take the sport by storm. Carey's other acting efforts have been in films The Bachelor and Wisegirls. (WENN)
