Radio Music Awards
Mariah Carey opened the Radio Music Awards Friday with "Never Too Far" and right afterwards was awarded the "Most Requested Artist Award". In her acceptance speech, Mariah said, "Oh oh, dear. Thank you so much. I'm just happy to be here. And I'd like to say thank you to radio, first of all, for being here for me, since 'Vision of Love,' and, you know, I wouldn't be here without you and mainly, basically, this award is about the fans, and you've been here with me, stuck with me through thick and thin, drama, no drama, whatever. And I just want to say I love you. I appreciate you. Thank you, God, for taking me through whatever. And thank you everybody out there who supported me." (Pop Dirt) Many thanks to Mariah Crybaby.
