Virgin dramatically slows production of "Glitter" LPs

Virgin Records, under its parent company EMI, has dramatically slowed the production of Glitter LPs only a week after issuing it's second profit warning in six months. This warning was released only one week after dumping Mariah Carey from their label for $28 million dollars, on top of the 21 million she recieved from the Glitter LP.

After seeing the poor sales numbers of Glitter, you may agree with EMI's decision to slow production of the disc, but earlier this week the declining record label announced it's plan to not only dramatically slow the production of the soundtrack, but eventually stop production all-together.
