Mariah gives "My All"

Finally, a comprehensive compilation album of Mariah Carey's songs to rival those available in the pasar malam. Released recently by her former record label Sony Music, the double-CD collection Mariah Carey Greatest Hits comprises popular tunes from her self-titled first album to her number one hits compilation album, #1s.

In this release, however, you will find great tunes which did not make it into her previous collection ... and these are the songs that fans would listen to again and again. They include Anytime You Need A Friend, Endless Love (duet with Luther Vandross), Underneath The Stars, Butterfly, Forever and Can't Let Go and Can't Take That Away.

Other songs in this 28-track album include the chart toppers My All, Hero, Vision of Love, Love Takes Time, I Don't Wanna Cry and Without You. What's good about this release is that it includes duets/collaborations between the diva and other artistes, namely tracks like Heartbreaker (with Jay-Z), When You Believe (Whitney Houston) and One Sweet Day (Boyz II Men) and Thank God I Found You (Joe and 98 degrees).

Listening to this album will give you an idea of how she managed to sell more than 90 million copies of her albums and being named the Biggest Selling Female Artiste of the 1990s by Billboard.
