Mariah "rents" for next film role
According to Rock Online Italia, Mariah will be gearing up to film "Rent-A-Husband", co-starring Italian actress Maria Grazia Cucinotta ("The World Is Not Enough"). The film, which also stars Alessandro Gassman ("La Bamba") will tell the story of Maria (Cucinotta) who travels to America after locating her lost husband (Gassman), who immigrated to the country several years before. When she arrives, her nostalgia is turned to heartache when she discovers that her husband is now living with and married to another woman (Carey).
The film will be an international co-production between the Cristaldi Pictures, Five Mile River Films, and Medusa Distribution corporations and will begin filming in September in both the USA and Canada.
