Mariah Carey is in; what about Mike?

Grammy Award-winning pop diva Mariah Carey is a sure thing for the NBA All-Star Game. Is Michael Jordan? Carey, continuing in her "comeback" that began with the 2002 release of her ninth CD "Charmbracelet", will perform live during halftime of the Feb. 9 game at Philips Arena. Jordan, perhaps the greatest player in NBA history, will be there as well if selected as a reserve on the Eastern Conference team, which will be announced today.

Jordan, who finished third behind guards Tracy McGrady and Allen Iverson in the popular voting, holds the career record for scoring average in the All-Star Game (21.3 points per game) and has been selected to the team in each of his 13 full seasons in the NBA.
