Dupri, T-Pain present on new Carey album

The musical efforts of producer Jermaine Dupri and rapper T-Pain will be featured in the newest album from U.S. pop star Mariah Carey. When Carey's follow-up to her 2005 hit album "The Emancipation of Mimi" arrives in stores, it will feature the talents of both Dupri and the "Good Life" rapper, along with contributions from producer Rodney Jerkins and rapper will.i.am, Billboard reported.

Dupri recently offered a hint at what Carey's new effort, dubbed "That Chick", held for fans. "It's kind of strange but I heard a lot of her records and it sounds like the album is better than the last album," Dupri said. Billboard said the album ranges from breezy tunes from Carey to more urban offerings featuring the likes of T-Pain.

The follow-up to "Emancipation", which topped the charts in 2005 album sales, is scheduled to be released on April 1.
