5th Anniversary
This year, the Mariah Carey Archives is celebrating its 5th anniversary. With that, it is one of the longest running Mariah Carey fansites. Started on March 31, 1998, the Archives has reached millions of visitors. Precisely two years ago, it became one of the first database-drive websites. Since then, the number of daily visitors has been tripled.
Last year, a new design was made, which received a lot of praise. Also, the newsletter was re-born. In the beginning, the Archives had for some time a weekly newsletter, summing up all the news of the past week. The new newsletter is sent every day to over 2600 fans, with the latest news, site updates, news from the past and the latest links.
What can you expect of the Mariah Carey Archives in the future? First of all, the Archives will maintain the high quality you're used to, with daily news and the most extensive discography. In fact, it is the only discography really interesting for Mariah collectors. But the Archives will reach beyond the Internet. It will be the first website to publish a book: the Mariah Carey Catalogue.
