About RibbonB from USA: I love Mariah's Music.

Lee Daniels interview on sirius FM show (62,436) by RibbonB from USA
You should listen to Lee Daniels discuss Mariah doing a reality show. He is funny but serious in saying it's a bad idea. He said sometimes geniuses need to be protected from themselves. Mariah tricked him into taping an appearance lol. He lovingly discusses his friend being vulnerable and how she masks it with the diva behavior. He clearly stated he thinks it's a bad idea, that it is bigger than Mariah. I do agree with him that we should not attack her, even as we express our feelings about this project. He was on a show called Revelations, a link is on twitter.

Re: TMZ (62,405) (62,409) by RibbonB from USA
Wow. The reason I hope dem babies will have minimal exposure on this show, is it seems very adult. And Mariah will be judged with memes etc. She should not want her kids exposed to the same judgement and pettiness from the general public.

Telling phrases (62,392) by RibbonB from USA
Two of the most telling phrases Mariah said on WWHL: One is that she didn't say the reality show will show her open and vulnerable. She said there will be moments, many moments. We shall see what that means. She also said that it makes her angry when Prince is not talked about and remembered as the musical genius and legend that he is. The irony is this series seems designed to cater to the meme loving teens and drama queens, tea sippers etc. Hopefully some moments of her own genius will shine through for her own legacy. I hope the children are not allowed to be on the show. Well, maybe for their birthday.

Last letter Z, Zohan's theme: I'll be loving you long time. Since we're making stretches.

Re: Now that Mariah has addressed it (62,356) (62,361) by RibbonB from USA
The gossipy, cheeky shows like that will always ask her about it unless she puts restriction on them. Shows like Wendy's and Andy's live for the petty nonsense. Mariah will shut it down if ever she feels like it. It has taken shows and most press until her separation from Nick to stop the Tommy mentions. He is hardly ever brought up now, lol. They barely bring up Nick because she seems so raw about that still and doesn't seem to want to go there at all at least until her divorce is final. She shut down that tattoo question real quick and didn't want to look at it. And I bet she wont talk about hers, lol. Those two will always have a connection though dem babies. As for the other stuff, she just deals with them like some songs from her catalogue, sing them for the nostalgia or something.

Marian's World (62,297) by RibbonB from USA
Ultimately I wish Mariah the very best. I hope Stella does not turn out to be a Pat Houston type, ever present, grim reaper. I get nothing but negative vibes from this chick.

Lol I see you missed a few too, with only a few repeats. Mariah has written so many great songs.

Abc's (62,192) by RibbonB from USA
"Always be my baby", "Betcha gon know", "Can't let go", "Don't forget about us", "Endless love", "Faded", "Hero", "Impossible", "Languishing", "Migrate", "OOC", "Petals", "Ribbon", "Stay the night", "To the floor", "Underneath the stars", "Vanishing", "We belong together". I missed a few letters trying to name the first Mariah song that came to mind for each letter.

Re: Article: Is Nick Cannon purposely holding up his ex's wedding? (62,118) (62,139) by RibbonB from USA
Mariah has said in interviews that the divorce is not final. That is also true for James and his wife Erica. Marriage can't happen until both divorces are final. A couple of months ago reports were that Mariah indefinitely postponed the wedding because the potential mother in law did not approve of her, or something like that. Wendy didn't discuss that rumor though to my knowlege.

Memoirs (62,127) by RibbonB from USA
People should note the definition of memoirs involves memories and moments of someone's life, not just from the last CD to the next. Thus Memoirs included happy and sad moments, of her life, or that people in general might experience, not just what she may have been experiencing during her marriage.

Ribbon (62,121) by RibbonB from USA
I love Ribbon from Memoirs. That song is perfect from the two minutes point to the end. Amazing adlibs.

Break up makeup re-up prenup (62,120) by RibbonB from USA
Mariah has been writing love songs, make up and break up songs since the beginning of her career and even before Tommy. People like to think these songs are all personal and chronological, but I highly doubt it. Mariah herself has given conflicting and convoluted information about her songs. Right now Mariah is doing the same with her personal life. I'm sure her next record people will be very confused. Is she referring to her husband, her fiance or then hired help Bryan or Anthony? What's most sad is she and her team think this is cute.

I meant sexuality in that typo. Just interesting you sound really racist discussing JD.

I see you are letting your racist flag fly dude. Mariah hangs with people of all shapes, ages, sizes, gender, drxuality etc. That we don't know, nor care to know.

Rabbit hole (61,906) by RibbonB from USA
Looks like Mariah decided or was forced to go deep into the rabbit hole with her friend Brett and his besties James and Stella. I hope she takes the right pill before it's too late. Matrix references of course, but I do think Mariah is dealing with a lot of serious life situations with a lot of illusions, smoke and mirrors. That's fine for the stage, but dangerous in real life.

Re: A vicious cycle (61,855) (61,858) by RibbonB from USA
I agree. Mariah is not a tabloid star, yet that's how this team is presenting her and she is playing along. Mariah should be more elusive and exclusive. She should be more prudent with her sharing and it should come from her, not her reps handling her social media for their fame, or withholding out of spite. She's becoming her own version of her song Camouflage. Mariah seems at her best as a mom. Her kids need her best and her, at her best.

Happy Mother's Day Mariah (61,856) by RibbonB from USA
It is nice to see Mariah with her family. I am sure their kids appreciate moments out of the lime light as well as celebrating their mom on stage. ROC and Roe look adorable.

Re: Visuals / Lemonade (61,824) (61,825) (61,828) by RibbonB from USA
Exactly. I thought he must have been joking, but good that you pointed all of that out. Bey is also headed for number two the week of May 14, behind Prince who shoots back up to number one on Billboard 100, since his untimely death.

Re: Visuals / Lemonade (61,821) (61,823) by RibbonB from USA
Lol Lemonade is hardly tanking. It reached number one its first week and Beyoncé is breaking records because of it, also all of her songs charted at the same time. The drawback is that it is streaming exclusively on Tidal. While It helps Tidal, it somewhat suppresses Lemonades numbers. She should be helped out yet again because the physical release comes out this week, just in time for Mother's Day and the older folks who don't stream music anyway. I think it is very likely that she will get another big pop in sales from this. My favorite song on Lemonade is "Sorry", which should continue moving up the charts. The song is funny and hits the feeling of being pissed, while pretending to be apathetic perfectly. The line "stop interrupting my grinding" is so silly, petty and hilarious all at the same time. Lol.

Re: ET interviews (61,780) (61,782) by RibbonB from USA
She's probably saving it for her reality show. Her back up dancer has footage posted out there. Every move seems very calculated, but not really smart.

Re: ET interviews (61,767) (61,777) by RibbonB from USA
It would be nice if she got them off of those binkies as well. They are five now. The kids are gorgeous and seem very smart, but I hope she is giving them the personal time that they need. She has a lot going on and they don't seem to be her priority. Someone earlier said that Nick might be a jerk and seek custody. Well I for one hope he seeks a fair amount of custody, he seems to be an attentive dad. The only thing Mariah did mention in the interview is that they love to travel and get on planes. Mariah may end up repeating things her mother did. While she has the money to let them travel and live in luxury. Being a rich vagabond isn't always the best thing for little children. I think it's tacky that Mariah also schedules concerts etc. on important dates for her children. Perhaps she didn't want Nick to be at their 5th birthday party. I read some people complaining online that he should have traveled to SA. Like she would have allowed him there to remind her of their 7th wedding anniversary. Well I hope she has a good mother's day with her children, but she should allow her kids to spend father's day with their dad, unlike last year when she was acting all "angry baby mama" like. IMO.

Re: Beyonce (61,724) (61,725) by RibbonB from USA
They are both about strained relationships. But where Bey and Jay kept theirs private and worked out whatever issues and crafted a masterpiece, Mariah and Nick both publicly alluded to marital issues. I have always felt that Mariah's big mistake was rolling out Miamtec, before having a resolution. We're shown a haphazard release, and Mariah jumped back into the public to perform as the damsel in distress. Now we are getting the damsel being saved by her white knight in shining armor, with the wicked stepmanager. I don't see this tale ending well. The Beyonce difference, if based on true events or inspired by them, is her project ring more cohesive and authentic. Maybe because she did the self reflection privately and then birthed a project. I hope Mariah has done some self reflecting and not just snap rebounding.
