About RibbonB from USA: I love Mariah's Music.

Re: R-E-S-P-E-C-T (61,535) Damsel in Distress (61,548) by RibbonB from USA
I agree with a lot of what you are saying, from Tommy to Benny and on and on. But now she is handing over the reigns to the infamous Stella. So she is buying into this whole thing with a low brow reality show, or docudrama or whatever. I Adore Mariah's music and I think she is a great person, but she is real extra, to say the least. I thought of a tongue and cheek title of her next CD Damsel In Distress or to play on words - Damsel In Dis Dress. Lol. I wish she would really feel as empowered as she can be and should be. She always gives off this vulnerability being in need of a little help. I know it takes a village for us all sometimes.

Re: Stella vs. Mariah (61,455) (61,462) by RibbonB from USA
Well I'm definitely not one to give Stella much credit, but she is on record as selling this reality show as that is her background. And Mariah allegedly has said that the wedding is on the show because the team wants it on there and James allegedly does anything Mariah wants. All of that is funny to me, but hey she has a new yes team. Anyway, it will be what it will be.

Re: Eternally thirsty? (61,439) (61,454) by RibbonB from USA
Peers in the general sense, performers. Their teams are working behind the scenes getting things done for their clients.

Eternally thirsty? (61,430) by RibbonB from USA
I find it interesting that many of Marian's peers are making smart moves without all the diva reality show shenanigans. Alicia Keys has a new single coming soon and she will appear on SNL in early May. Beyonce has this surprise lemonade video coming soon along with a new CD and her tour. Even E V E, who has been off the scene for a minute has come back with a new movie after taking a break and getting married. Now she is reportedly touring this sumer with Gwen Stefani. These ladies manage to be relevant, make music without the level of foolery coming from the Stella camp. So far none of her peers have gotten marked on a pay reality show. Shame Mariah has dropped so low to blac rob and Kim K. levels. Those are floundering reality show brands. Mariah will be at the end of this fad just like the Idol fad. If my prediction is true, she can get credit for ending another bad fad.

Stella story (61,292) by RibbonB from USA
I was referencing an article I read in star magazine. It was April 4, that article stated they quit. A definite change of tone from the week before.

Re: Eddie / Rae Rae vs Stella (61,270) (61,290) by RibbonB from USA
It's interesting indeed. The only person I will believe about this is if Mariah says something in an interview out of her own mouth. I don't believe most of these articles that quote from sources, insiders, family friends or even with Mariah is quotation marks unless I hear it. Mariah was quoted as saying that she fired them to TMZ of all places, then just last week I read in Life and Style I think that the employees quit and that Mariah was happy with her new team because she felt her career was stagnant and she was not relevant anymore, that her prior team kept her closed up. That was laughable, at least Mariah tweeted then. Now I don't trust her tweets. A thirteen year old is the last person to tweet for a legendary diva who runs her own corporation. Anyway the gratuitous article seemed to soft pedal what Mariah was alleged to have said only the week before. The title was Mariah and Stella "we belong together". I have to find the exact magazine, but I snapped a picture of it. I refuse to buy tabloids, but the sources are entertaining. Funny this whole Stella error/era there are always multiple versions of the same story. James won't be on the show, from Mariah's mouth, to he taped and is happy to be on the show allegedly from Mariah to TMZ. Then we are told Mariah fired her staff, to the staff quit. They are moving in together, then Mariah herself says they are not living together. Anyway, I support Mariah and wish her the best for her sake and especially for her kids' sake. I'm going to laugh if my prediction comes true, that all these players will be on this ship wreck if it ever airs. They say reality TV is scripted anyway. I just hope Mariah writes a great next record I will buy it, I always do and all this other stuff is not even required.

Re: Bye Russian mafia [censored] (61,031) (61,042) by RibbonB from USA
Yes I would want her out especially if she said those things on Marian's behalf, or if she just let Marian say them herself. That is not having Marian's back, that is protecting her own image, or just vindictive. We didn't see Stella all up in tiny and t I's reality show. Didn't know about her or cared until she latched onto Mariah. Mariah always has ups and downs. That's life. What she seems to lack is self confidence. I will be glad when her infinity means contentment, confidence, faith and not just be seemingly tied to the next man or manager because when things go south, welp.

Re: Bye Russian mafia [censored] (61,031) (61,040) by RibbonB from USA
I attribute Marian's success or failure to Mariah. Ultimately she makes the final choices and she has to live with the consequences if they are bad ones. People don't give her enough credit and always treat her like she is subject to every wind and whim, or other people's work. Mariah sings, writes, produces and deals with the public and private work. She can find any team to have her back. She has in past and will on future. Her career like her weight comes and goes in cycles, ultimately due to her hard work. She got to Vegas before Stella, she had had great tours in the past. The only thing Stella is doing different is a different kind of drama. Mariah can do well without it. Mostly I'm concerned about Stella sinfully injecting herself into Marian's world. She really stands alone, but due to her insecurity she hedges her bets. IMO.

Bye Russian mafia [censored] (60,991) by RibbonB from USA
Please people this lady needs to go. She is all in it for the money and her self interests. Mariah is a means to her ends. Trust any success Mariah has achieved she could have had it without miss Stella. What she doesn't need is a reality show, that is all for Stella. So whether Mariah approved Stella's quotes to TMZ of all places, or whether she is being blackmailed like some other tabloid suggested, Stella is bad news and self serving. The biggest kicker is Stella to say, or attribute any comments to Mariah which disparage prior employees is unprofessional, unethical and leaves Mariah subject to lawsuits. Forget about ego, what about professionalism and being discreet, which Mariah has been for her entire career. Stella sucks and has been planting stories left and right in the Daily Mail and now feeding TMZ. Girl bye. MIAM flopped for many reasons, mainly it wasn't that great, and it was a bit too personal and specific and premature. The divorce ain't even final yet. I'll stop there.

Wendy (59,596) by RibbonB from USA
Wendy does make valid points. Divorce, tell the kids, assess how it impacts kids, tour, Vegas. That's a lot to do before a summer wedding. God bless the babies.

Re: Article: Mariah Carey's diamond choker is $500,000 gift (58,128) (58,141) by RibbonB from USA
Well Shrek was born into his family's millions lol and Mariah and dem babies don't actually "need" his money, Mariah could stop working whenever, if ever she wanted to and that is not likely to ever happen. I would hope that whatever personal relationship she gets into will not be based on money. Hopefully Packer is as concerned about his own three children as some of you want him to be concerned about Nick and Mariah's children. Divorce is complicated and blending families even more so. Have some of you wanna be step-daddy Packer fans thought of the impact of M dealing with his children, or not would do to her family? Let's hope Shrek is as concerned about what Seal, who is alleged to be dating Packer's ex-wife, might be doing with his own children instead of acting like it's all easy and wonderful to jump into two four year old babies lives at this time in their and their mother's lives. Caution is never a bad thing in new relationships. Mariah's relationship with her children is a lifetime thing, but with men, most likely not.

Re: Da Brat spills da tea on WoolPac co-habitation (57,775) (57,792) by RibbonB from USA
I actually saw that episode and the ex-felon seemed to imply that Mariah had not moved in with Shrek yet. If you are calling Nick Thirsty then he has a right to know and approve of anywhere his children live. Mariah and her team actually are coming off as thirsty with these constant TMZ tidbits. I don't think TMZ just naturally is interested in her and her "billionaire". They seem to be trying to get people interested in this narrative IMO.

Article: Mariah Carey and James Packer are living together (57,724) by RibbonB from USA
I have remained silent on her personal issues for over a year now, but I hope this one isn't true. Hopefully she finishes her divorce before doing anything this dramatic. This has to be confusing to her young children and she is not desperate for a place to live. She should put her desires to spend 24/7 with a man, far below what might be best for her kids. she was shady for taking them on a summer vacation and then tweeting happy fathers day to Nick. She is the more mature one in the relationship, so she should act it and always put her children's well being first and foremost. Mariah is enough to deal with on her own, she should learn the best and worst of [censored] Packer before she folds him into her children's lives. I won't even begin to drag him, yet. Lol.

Mrs Mariah C (45,948) by RibbonB from USA
I'm glad Mariah seems to be taking time to regroup. Fans let her down with the sales of this CD. Too many knew/know about it, follow her on social media etc, but they just didn't buy it. She did better than JLo and Robin Thicke which is a good thing. People are just being cheap. And now in my opinion, people are taking cheap shots at Mariah. The awesome thing about her is she keeps plugging away, she maintains her faith. I'm glad she has her family and as she said on the special with Matt Lauer, her relationship is like anyone else's they go through things. I don't think Mariah and Nick were any more awkward than they were on the Barbara Walters special when they introduced dem babies. Both M and Nick are both a bit different, they have never had the perfect poses, they just seem real. Even Mariah's "sexy" poses are often awkward. The best family videos have been the home videos like the one on Rosie when the babies were listening to Nick drum and make noise. Just an authentic family moment, or the recent fathers day video with Mariah in the background and the kids wishing Nick happy father's day. I think they have both decided not to share too much on social media or interviews, which is fine with me.

Yes, some people just want to be messy. Mariah's first TV interview was on Video Soul on Black Entertainment TV in the 90's and she clearly talked about her heritage. M clearly loves and misses her dad.

The past few years? (45,133) by RibbonB from USA
It would seem that the past few years would be the past three or four, that's what few means. LolThe whole CD could be about the ups and downs of her present relationship. It's rather absurd to assume otherwise, IMO. She had definitely said that the world gets the best of Nick, which ties in very well to Faded. But I'm glad if she is giving him one more try. anyway, I bought and love the CD, I wish more of her fans had actually purchased it.

MC and Nick / happy anniversary Mariah (42,384) by RibbonB from USA
It's like whatever, because if MC is still happy, then cool. Mariah knows who she married and Nick knows who he married. MC is rather sideways at times in her actions and comments about her own marriage. MC has her style and Nick has his. He's not trying to be her and she isn't trying to be him. Anyway, happiest anniversary to Mariah. The pics Nick shared of the kids are absolutely adorable.

That rumor has been around for months on various blogs. The reason it hasnt "spread" is because it's just silly and most people ignore it. Any time MC poses in the studio with a guy, rumors tend to start. MC got much more press and funny comments for her boob selfie to Nick for his birthday.

Somehow I doubt this, especially when the article also said he wrote her Christmas classic "All I want for Christmas is you". Lol. If it's true, it's probably just something like what Randy did: paid friend and musical advisor. Mariah has many different managers.

You really need to check the facts. Wild N Out was never cancelled. Nick stopped the show because it was too expensive for the network to put on. He let it fade out at its peak and he took time to focus on his new marriage. The show was brought back by popular demand. Nick created and executive produced that show long before he met Mariah and give him some credit for being one of the hardest working men in showbiz. He certainly hasn't sack on his back side getting fat and collecting child support checks like KFed.

Exactly. Also every singer has good performances and bad performances and most sing to track on television. Hell, I miss the good old days of Soul Train when every one lipped or sang to track. People seem to overly judge Mariah. And really Terna, you want to bring up Slimey? All he ever did was start or expand on rumors to malign MC's name. He's a non-Mf'ing factor. Lol. I loved MC's 4th of July show performances. The red outfit was outstanding.

Jenny, I totally agree. She is absolutely gorgeous. And Roc is totally handsome too. What a treat to finally see them interacting with dem puppies. Mariah loves her Jacks, so it's nice to see that they will probably follow in their mommy's footsteps as Jack aficianados. Now, if we can get a photo of Roe walking one of the doggies, I would just be tickled pink.

Lol. I have been thinking the same thing for days now. People get all caught up that they ignore what's right in their faces. They should believe the real, raw footage, not the recorded, edited footage, which is distorted. Lol. MC could be speaking with someone right in their face and someone would say she lipped it.
