Those babies just keep getting cuter and cuter and so big now and walking. Mariah and Nick must be so proud. I can't wait to hear the first song about dem babies. What Mariah must be feeling now, taking care of her little gifts.

Nick made a great video and Randy is a professional and Mariah is a professional who knows more about her business that you do. Lot's of people love the video and song, but if they buy it great and if they dont oh well. It has nothing to do with who her video director is or her manager. People didn't buy HATE U in great numbers either unfortunately and it wasn't directed by Nick and Randy wasn't her manager then. Ultimately people buy the songs they like and it has nothing to do with directors and management, it's about tastes at the time.

Thanks. I know I'm wishing for the best for this song and all the rest to come. They will need all fan support. Tug or wars only lead to stagnation/fails and frustration.

Flaws/perception (36,111) by RibbonB from USA
Lol the video flaws were intentional and tongue in cheek. That's how I read it and why I find the video so intriguing. All of Mariah's incarnations in the video are exaggerated and over posed and I love the off beat stomp at the end and the weak jab makes me laugh. Mariah is a good acctress, so when she exaggerates her diva pose walking into the ring I just laugh and cheer. The video is fun and happily number three most viewed on Vevo for the past couple days. Geezy, you can see this as a disaster if you will, but so many fans do not. It's always sad when some see the glass half empty and others see it half full, but worse when some want to just empty the glass and start over. It's Mariahs proverbial glass and she's staying on her toes.

Grumpy Goats (36,105) by RibbonB from USA
LMAO. Mariah is Hilarious. I just checked Twitter and she tweeted where my lambs at. I'm playing Grumpy Goats (some kind of actual game video game). That's just too funny.

I agree with you and the single is generating lots of buzz in Asia and the UK and slowly in the US charts. It's nice to see the video at around 9 on iTunes charts, at least that's what I read and it's also building on rhythmic stations. I mentioned the great song Adorn by Miguel which has actually been out for months buzzing along, but it may never cross over or even hit number one on R&B charts, but I bet it's a Grammy winner next year. The charts and great or even good songs don't always align, but Mariah is doing some good things right now in anticipationn of her new CD.

Rod video references (36,073) by RibbonB from USA
Lol I got all those references and thought how cute. I also got a Glitter reference with her singing in the ring, looked very much like the closing song to Glitter and I loved all the falling glitter and lights. Many areas of the video were visually stunning. I'm glad that many, many fans are loving this video, at least on Twitter. It's fun and it's Mariah.

Triumphant video is a triumph (36,063) by RibbonB from USA
I liked it a lot. I loved the Sepia tones and the old school boxing match, speak easy vibe worked IMO. Meek Mill should have tried to work out a bit before the shoot. Lol. Mariah looked great. Her, "tough girl" hand movement always get's me though, it makes me chuckle.

Gilbert/hits (36,056) by RibbonB from USA
People do what they do because they want to. I often see people campaigning for this poll or that stream, but many of them are young on twitter and have the time. All of it is part of the variety in Mariah's fan base. And a lot of that comes into play for any other artist or group's fan base as well. So it actually is a part of the process of getting a hit. Buzz happens in a lot of ways. Mariah listens to her fans and a lot of them do love Triumphant. There are a lot of songs that never make it to number one, but they get lots of airplay. Mariah will be doing great if she can even get this song in decent rotation, considering the way radio is and has been for a few years now. Erykha Badu posted an interesting comment about artists in that tween age of 40. They relate to the younger and older, but strive to get airplay on regular pop or r&b radio and do not want to be considered oldie acts only on oldie formats. I trust that Mariah is doing as she says, making the kind of music she likes.

Bsquared (36,046) by RibbonB from USA
Lol, he wasnt actually throwing shade. He was asked about the state of r&b and is thoughts on a few singers. He definitely threw shade on Trey Songz though. His comment was on the breakfast club morning show, you can probably google and find it, if interested. When he was asked about Frank Ocean, he said he liked Frank and did like his CD, but he added the comment about him being maybe "too cool for school". I just take that as he may not be very commercially successful, pop of buzz or not, if the music itself doesn't resonate.

Video / Alain (36,040) by RibbonB from USA
I'm looking forward to the Triumphant video. I am loving the Sepia tones and the gold elements so far. Alain, I agree the song will take time to build, it's getting some decent radio adds in the US. It can take songs some time to build, especially the way radio formats are these days.

Frank collab "meh" (36,031) by RibbonB from USA
Frank is getting lot's of buzz, but I'm not that impressed with his music. I agree with what Ne-yo said about him, he might be too cool for school. My opinion about that is he's trying to be a bit too ecclectic. His melodies are not complete and he doesnt have good beats, but Mariah does know how to elevate the music she works with. As for outside her comfort zone, as long as it's with good musicians, good lyricists that is the most important thing.

Licia / collab (36,027) by RibbonB from USA
My only wish is for them to collab writing together, but he could sing great back up. I'm not a fan of Mariah singing duets. But he seems like a great new songwriter and he's a guitarist. I think they could write a couple of interesting songs that Mariah would sound fabulous on.

You must hear Miguel's new song Adorn, it is so addictive. It's a little Prince like, if Prince were still writing hits today. Lol. I also like his latest song "Quickie".

Mariah 2013 (36,017) by RibbonB from USA
I really wish Mariah would collab at least in writing with R&B singer Miguel. He has a very cool sound, very anti-techno, but relevant and I love what he's been putting out lately. A track or two with these two co-writing could be pretty cool.

7 tracks in (35,995) by RibbonB from USA
On July 19th Randy Jackson said in an interview that he was 7 tracks into a new CD with Mariah. And Mariah has mentioned that number too in recent weeks. That was when he was working with her while she was in the Hamptons. It's a process.

Edward (35,993) by RibbonB from USA
Mariah has said recently that she has about 7 songs, so she is no where near finished and I think it's great she is not rushing. She has a lot on her plate getting ready for a new job, etc.
