TMB, timeless classic. There at are a little dated, but I love Migrate and I'll Be Lovin, FTR, ISIL. Cruise Control didn't age as well as I thought it would.

Re: Mariah vs ? on IG (93,855) (93,857) by RibbonB from USA
She may be queen of slick shade, but she doesn't do tit for that well, which is why the thing with her and Nicki was so distasteful. Mimi might wanna leave that smoke alone. Janet can't be bothered, I bet. Mimi would require a whole dj to push the buttons and please not snufalufaGus.

Re: Mariah vs ? on IG (93,834) (93,850) by RibbonB from USA
She's not ready for Toni 's level of Petty and shade. Toni was clowning Teddy, obviously team Babyface. Perhaps she could team up with Timbaland vs. Swizz and Alicia.

Oh I know, I skip around and over too. So redundant.

Thanks Eric, that article wasn't up when I asked.

What did she sing? And I can't believe you missed all that shade from a few posts past. I usually only shade him here for you.

Surprise (93,830) by RibbonB from USA
So Mimi got a little E=MC2 surprise. That's cool. And dem kids will be nine, how fun. Hopefully things will be more normal by the time they hit their teens. I'm so over this pandemic. Hoping we all stay alive and well.

Re: Article: Mariah Carey shares kitchen selfie holding two kettles (93,756) (93,766) by RibbonB from USA
Great receipts. Also Mimi wasn't releasing many, if any, personal, at home photos in the 90's. Nor was Kristofer Buckle working for her in the early 90's and pre social media as we know it. He usually takes her casually posed at home, head cocked to the side photos, or it was possibly taken by Mr. "Chex for sex " himself. Hi Licia.

I don't know her.

Doing a reverse triple axle off a parallel bar in high school. How'd you miss that fun fact?

Re: What if (93,684) (93,685) by RibbonB from USA
No. Her drive and creativity fueled her success. If things were different she may have been forever stifled or worse, muffled and or destroyed. But I'm sure many will speculate differently, but it's all a futile exercise in "what ifs" anyway.

Re: New album title (93,658) (93,668) by RibbonB from USA
We haven't had a good personal name song title since Eleanor Rigby. It's time.

Re: New album title (93,640) (93,647) by RibbonB from USA
Terrible title. How about "Carol Baskin"? Lmao. At least one song with that title.

Re: Clark sisters biopic (93,600) (93,604) by RibbonB from USA
Yes lawdy. Too much tea, where none was really expected. Twinkie Clark is a genius. I loved how much emotion they shared about their relationship with their legendary mom.

Check again tonight and TV one is airing their episode of Unsung tonight as well.

Clark sisters biopic (93,590) by RibbonB from USA
Licia, please tell me you saw it last night on Lifetime? It was so good. I just love those gospel singing legends. They should have had a miniseries. It was cool to see so many legends showing them love on Twitter, like Anita Baker and Dianne Reeves.

Re: RIP Bill Withers (93,500) (93,502) by RibbonB from USA
Yes indeed. His songs are so classic, impactful, memorable. Just amazing. And it's great that he retired and just lived life, for a few decades, at least two. I've been wanting to see his documentary, Still Bill, from a few years ago, now I will have to look for it.

RIP Bill Withers (93,495) by RibbonB from USA
What a loss. What an amazing storyteller, singer, songwriter. A lovely Day is a perfect little ditty. I would love to know what his most recent songs were, if any. He has so many classic compositions.

Re: Andy Cohen (93,350) (93,353) by RibbonB from USA
I said nothing hateful or about hate. Trump is in fact inept and more concerned about his image than the health and welfare of U.S. citizens. He's a clown and his ego is detrimental to our well being. He lies daily and accepts no blame. Be upset and be concerned for your own hygiene.

I'm so glad things are improving there. Thanks for the first hand warning and reminder to all of us to stay inside.

Re: Andy Cohen (93,340) (93,341) by RibbonB from USA
Sadly people voted for a racist clown for president. What's even worse is corrupt Republican Senators voted to keep him when there was a perfect opportunity to be rid of him with impeachment. Now because of his greed and his stupidity we are less safe and I'll prepared for a pandemic. I hope he and his cronies lose it all, after getting arrested for insider trading. Trump'S delusional and dangerous, IMO.

Re: Pandemic (93,303) (93,305) by RibbonB from USA
Ain't that the truth? Although I hope she doesn't catch it like Idris, or Tom Hanks. We could all do without a new pandemic disease, so more importantly let's hope we all survive. On another note, when things clear, or settle down, I bet some comedian is going to have a fire routine about this dystopian year.
