Re: Mariah's World (98,432) (98,435) by RibbonB from USA
Sorry that should say only let, not Inky. Autocorrect gets weird on me.

Just tell granny no, don't let her watch it. Inky let her watch quality tv. But if she dies, watch the whole thing, please let us know her reaction to Stella.

Kelly Price (98,425) by RibbonB from USA
So I was watching the Terrell Show on YouTube and caught this great Kelly Price interview. She was asked about working with Mini [sic] at around 12 minute mark. She says all great things and sings some ABMB backing vocals. He further references Mariah at around 24 minutes. Terrell really has grown his show and has hosted many great singers. If Mini [sic] ever appeared it would blow his mind. She would have to be ready to blow, live and up close though. Kelly was very complimentary of her experience working for Mariah, her first big gig.

I was talking about the kids being friends with each other. I don't expect any mama drama. You can be related and not be friends, or even "cool".

Re: Mariah (98,417) (98,419) by RibbonB from USA
Hopefully they won't be tainted by Mariah's side of the family. The tainted siblings are the twins' aunt and uncle, no relation to the rest of the half siblings.

Re: Mariah (98,410) (98,418) by RibbonB from USA
Us online actually has a spread of recent pictures of Nick with the oldest four. Monroe is holding Powerful, looking adoringly at her face. Rocky is the big brother overseeing the gang. There's a cute pic of Nick with Roc who they misidentified as Golden. They also called Nick's grandma his mother. His mom Beth probably is overwhelmed with grands, yikes. I know it's bananas but we don't know their lives really.

Re: Mariah (98,410) (98,411) by RibbonB from USA
You're so petty, lol. But Monroe looks so lovingly at her new baby sister. I do hope they will all be cool, if not friends with one another.

Re: Monroe (98,403) (98,407) by RibbonB from USA
She's really growing and getting her own look. She's going to be very tall it seems.

I hope she's ok, but she could use a Krispy Kreme or two.

Holliday twine (98,397) by RibbonB from USA
That twine is cute though, but the spool is too tall. It should be like a fat ball ornament. She would gave been genius if she had designed some exclusive wrapping paper, perhaps with her own artwork. She shouldn't cheapen the season, but if she's going to do it, she should really curate a cute limited edition package.

Re: The elephant in the room (98,386) (98,388) by RibbonB from USA
I don't doubt her drinking has probably affected her voice. I was just laughing at your storytelling, like you were a fly on the wall in so many circumstances. All I needed was more dialog. But I also agree with others that she needed vocal training early on and may have trashed her voice early in her career. There are lots of drinkers and smokers who sang well into their older years. I can't believe you're dragging Celine Dion, the Keto queen.

That's some serious fan fiction Edward.

I need to find and save a bottle of Ribbon. Haven't seen that yet.

You forgot the ornaments. Does anybody still buy it wear her perfumes? I still see it in stores. I can't believe I bought her Luscious Pink back in the day. Maybe it'll be a collectible one day.

Re: Morgan is pathetic / Parasites (98,361) (98,364) by RibbonB from USA
He found it difficult to make it before the book, and with all his failed ventures that Mimi endorsed or financed in years prior. It's on him. He's old enough to collect social security, but he probably didn't put in enough work years to be entitled to anything. He's been selling tabloid stories for years because he's petty and broke it seems. He would have to prove he lost any deals or opportunities post the book's release, not just his opinions. Allison also accused him of being violent in childhood. He hasn't mentioned her since their first attempts to blackmail Mimi failed. Anyhow, as I said before, he may get a settlement just to finally shut him up. The only other reason to settle with him is for him to keep her name out of his mouth as he ignored all his previous tabloid threats and drama. Onward.

Re: Morgan is pathetic / Parasites (98,358) (98,360) by RibbonB from USA
Actually, "Parasite" is about the socio-economic inequity in that society, I was being facetious when I said spoiler alert, because most people have seen the movie or heard about its significance as a piece of art. But, also because it does clearly represent the "Morgan" types, who get angry enough at more well endowed people that they are willing to destroy them to have a piece of, or even the whole pie. Morgan needs to make his own way.

Re: Morgan is pathetic (98,354) (98,355) by RibbonB from USA
I'd love to read your response though. But really for him to call her a bully, or vindictive, what's his problem? And he's been selling his trash tabloid stories about her for years, he hasn't lost any career opportunities, that's just his excuse to blame her. Have you seen the movie Parasite by the way? Brilliant movie. Spoiler alert, it artfully describes how envious "barnacles" will invade and even destroy their "hosts" to continue feeding off of them.

Re: Morgan is pathetic (98,351) (98,353) by RibbonB from USA
Nope, Morgan trashed Mariah for years especially around 2013 onward, accusing her of drinking her entire pregnancy, revealing her alleged medication usage and generally telling her medical business. He has harassed her for years claiming she didn't help her sister financially, when she has helped them both many times over. Both of her pathetic siblings have behaved like parasites. Believe him all you want, but his own actions are very telling.

Morgan gas been trying to gaslight Mimi, much like Brittany has accused her dad of treating her like a cash box that he can control, only thankfully Morgan never got his grips into Mimi and her accounts.

Re: I miss Stella (98,333) (98,335) by RibbonB from USA
But it's all scripted. They were throwing overcooked noodles to the walls to see what stuck. Down to the last paid dancer. I love how Anthony Burrell was so honest to say he wasn't trying to babysit no diva and he quit, or got fired to hear Stella and Mimi tell it. The worst storyline was Maryann crying over her son being kicked off a bus full of adult males. Like who is that dumb to fight over her kid being unsupervised with adults all night. Don't get me started. The whole show was dumb and full of potential lawsuits and we've seen a few of them already. She's still settling up from that excursion.

Yeah they both sued each other. What a quagmire.

Morgan is pathetic (98,327) by RibbonB from USA
His lawsuit is trash. The nerve of him to bring up old silly mess with other stars, especially the one who trashed her relentlessly. His case has no merit, but he may get some sort of settlement for being a nuisance. I hope Mimi can get the judge to barr him from any future money grabs, so he can shut up finally. Thank God he never got his claws on control of her life and money.

Lol whatever that means. Somehow, I still think ish will crop up again, but yay. I actually hope it's over. That was the weirdest lawsuit, with strange allegations.

Missie Elliott birthday (98,305) by RibbonB from USA
Missie is so talented, happy bday. I was today years old when I found out that "work it" just flipped and reversed the phrase, I put my thang down flipped it and reversed it.
