I enjoy Brandy and Bedtime Stories is one of my Madonna albums because of the R&B influence. Yes, lambs can listen to other music and appreciate other artists lol. Can't Let Go anniversary (91,135) by Deedre aka MiTodoChop @HBF from Canada Can't Let Go was released on this day in 1991 and still remains a favorite Mariah track for me she delivered such a beautiful vocal, and it is a real treat the song has been revisited in recent years. Not sure what it is but something really special happens for me whenever I hear Can't Let Go, Love Takes Time, Endless Love and the Butterfly album. Mariah is absolutely one of the main artists I follow that I have been with through every era. All the highs and lows. Her music benchmarks a lot of experiences in my life. But I have never understood the hate directed at him. Yeah he could have kept some stuff to himself and made some different choices but he's not a bad guy because things did not work out with Mariah. There’s plenty of people out there who already say she “can’t sing anymore” and she’s already been called every name under the sun in the media. If she were to say something in her book about her voice honestly on her own terms, I really don’t see how it would be worse than what already gets said. She’s never going to please everybody. There have been snalk snippets her and there over the years. I guess at this point I don’t really expect it but it’s become such a heated issue in the past, it would be great if she did. My mom will still buy Mariah stuff for me because she knows I love her but she got really rubbed the wrong way when MC started showing more skin. No way would she read lyrics to me everyday. Happy 24th anniversary Daydream (90,972) by Deedre aka MiTodoChop @HBF from Canada For many fans this is the quintessential Mariah album. Can you believe it has been 24 years? Next year will be the silver anniversary. Hopefully MC has something up her sleeve for that, I'd totally buy a proper deluxe version. I will never forget the first listens I had of the monster hits Fantasy and One Sweet Day. For me though with this album over time it has been the lesser known deep cuts that only ate really talked about by fans, songs like Slipping Away, When I Saw You, Underneath The Stars (shout out to the drifting remix) Melt Away, Forever and Looking In that are stand out essentials for me. As fans we can talk about how she can make improvements all day long. What always remains for me is that there is no one in the world with that unmistakable sound. Her unique voice, is gorgeous to me and just makes me happy. (Thursday 3 October 2019; 16:16)

But I am so happy a deluxe version that is worth opening the wallet is happening at all that I can't be upset.
