Where Are You Christmas? TPG ft. Sarah Schmidt (58,355) by Warrior Butterfly from USA
Since the song Where Are You Christmas was supposed to be done by Mariah I though I would share this rendition of it by The Piano Guys. Let's be festive, enjoy.

Oh I know I would like the back cover of Mariah's Honey VHS single from Australia because it has the most full shot of her doing this.

What episode do you know or season?

Asking MC 5 interview questions (56,695) by Warrior Butterfly from USA
1. Some of your classic concerts have been released to DVD format such as the The First Vision and Here Is Mariah Carey. Would you ever consider the Butterfly tour or Music Box tour? Will you release or consider releasing The Elusive Chanteuses Show or your Las Vegas residency for those that were unable to attend?
2. Now that you're back with Sony, congratulations. Is there a chance to get in the Mariah vault and finding some hidden gems or b-sides as one collection or an EP? Would we ever get a chance to hear the song "Crave"?
3. Would you peripatetic [sic] in MTV Unplugged 2.0 or Storytellers? Discussing the songs, the songs you did then and song you have now.
4. What do you think or feel when a fan or artist says that they grew up with you, that you are the soundtrack of their life?
5. Christmas is coming and rumors of Merry Christmas being re-released, can we expect excerpts or an expatiation from your fan favorite St. John the Divine performance in 1994 such as an EP or bonus holiday concert mini DVD?
6. What Mariah song do you wish a fan heard that is non-mainstream, non-No 1 single that excludes UNTS, Butterfly and Breakdown? What song do you sit on and wish man I wish the lambs would really list it?

Re: God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen (56,675) (56,694) by Warrior Butterfly from USA
Using Mariah's Vevo version around mark 0:33 the vocals become more layered. The word "Joy" 0:35 is played with a bit more as a back ground vocal. Section 1:01 - 1:04 "tidings of comfort and joy" there is something sung in lower key underneath it. I wanna say she's singing "Christ is born", but I can really make it out. The original '94 release was more straight in my opinion, not much layering if any. Hope this help lamb.

God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen (56,671) by Warrior Butterfly from USA
I think I found both versions sound wise original international and dual disc re-release around mark 0:45. They start sound very different. I can't decide which one I like better.

Raven Symone made a great point (56,564) by Warrior Butterfly from USA
I've been itching for Janet Jackson ever sense I heard of her come back. "This woman is a genius, Janet said I'm famous as all can be, but I'm gonna leave and let you miss me and then comeback. You X-Artist need to go away let me miss you and then come back, come back and go on stage." - Raven Symone The View. Janet was MIA for seven years, seven fans even made a missing poster. https://twitter. Mariah baby, I love you, you are the soundtrack to my life but go away completely as in [...] and punch us in the face. It's been one year since MIAM, hold out for 6+ more an mother lamb will fly, why? Because she will be truly missed. I truly missed JJ because I honestly thought she retired, now I'm all giddy about her now. MC in the 90's, her release date was how I knew the year was coming to an end to predictable. Let's really miss Mariah not as in the next compilation with a bonus track no [...].

Re: Mirage (56,267) by Warrior Butterfly from USA
You hit the nail on the head. Expanding on this just a bit I always get the sense Mariah avoids her musical past as attempt to move forward. Example unless NC had pushed her into we'd probably had never heard Emotions like in 2009 live ever again, prior to the #1's release. She claims to give us fan favorites but these favorites are usually avoiding her whistle songs such as Breakdown. Maybe she regrets writing them high because it difficult to do. Some fan favorites are Emotions, Someday, Without You (which appears to be performed only internationally but I adore it) prior to Vegas did we hear them that often, no. peaking of Vegas WOY should be a quick bleep during the show it is a #1, sense she has such destine her Columbia years had it not been for those releases mentioned above as well as others. Would we know who Mariah Carey is? Her whistle is her signature. Someone mentioned Bliss using the whistle which I love very innovative. When have we heard it live never. How about an old school mini tour or what have you?
[MC] Alone in Love, Sent From Up Above
[EM] And You Don't Remember, So Blessed
[MB] Music Box
[DD] Melt Away, Long Ago
[CB] I Only Wanted, Lullaby
[Glitter] Last Night Night A DJ Saved My Life, Didn't Mean to Turn You On, Want You. A nod to Glitter would be nice and it did happen. Notice that whistle songs are avoided but there is a happy fan.

Apollo performance 90 (56,164) by Warrior Butterfly from USA
Does any lambs know when Mariah performed VOL and LTT at the Apollo? In the videos she seems to be in the same dress so it had to around the time LTT was released as a single. I'm thinking maybe August?

Mariah's Best Year/Album (56,118) by Warrior Butterfly from USA

Re: Stolen idea, depends how you look at it (55,971) (55,974) by Warrior Butterfly from USA
Honestly I have never listened to Taylor Swift or know what 1989 sounds like. I was basing my post on what was being discussed on the board. I got the impression Ms. Swift did a demo thing. My mistake, I should have done research first. True, had Mariah done it first it would have been noticeable. However I doubt it would have had the cultural impact if you will that Beyonce did. I keep having a memory that Lady Gaga was going to do a visual album as well for Popart but it never happened. That's neither here or there. I still listen to MC's debut as if it just came out a few days ago and I'm sure I'm going to get hell from my kids when they're old enough to develop musical taste and tell me to get with more modern artists and stop being so old fashioned lol. Anyway I still stand by the idea that Mariah should surge forward. Beyonce is not going to be last "artist" to drop that type of record. Someone else will do it down the road.

Stolen idea, depends how you look at it (55,970) by Warrior Butterfly from USA
If Beyonce stole the drop idea, Billboard magazine did give MC the cover story for promotion for her record. If it was the Taylor Swift 1989 thing, she could still release the demos as "fan favorites or request" and make it her own. She released The Remixes because the fans kept asking for it. This is a part of Mariah's personality that can irk me. Once she feels someone beat her to the punch of the something the whole idea gets thrown out the window. Be it a surprise release or sharing demos which according to TM were scrapped on purpose to give Mariah the best launch possible according to him, she's been around long enough that a release such as the demos could work. Or even a surprise album. Yes it be reported as MC steeling from Beyonce, point is why should she feel defeated? Keep moving forward and go for it she would earn major respect from people by just saying screw it and being fearless.
