The performance weighin (80,176) by Tevin from USA So I will give it a 7 out of 10. She did good, redeemed herself from last year. She song 99% live if not 100. See was a bit hoarse. But given that it was -7°F and she is singing live in front of millions of people I think I will bump her up to a 8 out of 10. I will say she did look like she enjoyed herself out there. Ryan kept saying how hard it is to sing in the weather conditions. I also am happy that this is the first time in a while where it seemed like she sang Hero completely live including the climax. Overall I was happy with this performance. Next year she needs to sing some up tempo songs in LA where it's warm and I doors. My rants over. I'm going to sleep now. Night everyone. What songs should she perform? (80,088) by Tevin from USA Don't know how big Mariah's time slot will be, but if you could choose 3 songs for her to perform Sunday night what would they be? "It's like that" (she sounded good and has been singing this 95% live lately), "I'll be loving you long time/TMB" mix. ABMB, crowd favorite (maybe just the first verse, the chorus, then have crowd sing the du du du part along with her). That should end the performance. Maybe throw a verse of Migrate into the mix, because it should have been a single. Lol. Doing this performance set I believe she could sing this all live with some back tracking (because everyone does it) without having to lip syinc. (Tuesday 26 December 2017; 22:18)

Dont get me wrong, Mariah killed it, especially that whistle note, but I always felt she sounded like Whitney with sligthly less power in that song. I still remember, when I played the song at a school function, when E=MC2 came out and everybody that showed up in my highschool was dancing and asking me to put Migrate on repeat. Whitney (rip) was the aunt with so much talent and potential, but her crazy marriage dragged her down. Mariah is like the sister that is a workaholic and talented but likes to party a little too much on the weekends lol. But Celine was like the mom, the person that would take you to church every Sunday while the rest of the family acting like fools. So to see Celine like this lol. But yes I do think that will her mix voice was probably at its most developed point, I think her chest voice was starting to dimenish, in that I become less rich and thick and more light and airy.
