About MusicfanJ from Germany: I'm a fan of Mariah since Daydream came out.

Re: Can't Take That Away (72,427) (72,435) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Oh yes, the world could need another "There's got to be a way". The news make me sick nowadays. Mariah please write a meaningful song. The "old" fans will love it and the young can see there's more than sex sells.

Lol. I can see the chemistry. They look like a couple.

Re: The most beautiful era (at least to me) (72,337) (72,382) by MusicfanJ from Germany
The Charmbracelet era was really special. I do love the tour too. I went to a concert and I was in heaven. The show was great, she looked so beautiful and was always smiling and talking to the fans between the songs. And then the "Bringin' on the heartbreak" performance, it was out of this world. Superstarpower at its best.

Re: Weird era (72,378) (72,381) by MusicfanJ from Germany
I never liked Madonna and her music, it's not my style (except some songs) but Madonna created an image from the beginning and I have to say it suits her. She was always an entertainer. And that's the problem with Mariah now. Most of the people know her as a singer and diva. That created and latest fake image for example the MW "documentary" doesn't suit Mariah and never will. It's the complete opposite of everything that comes in mind when thinking of MC. How can Mariah think Stella is good for her? Crustella is really the most weird one of all. I can imagine she's laughing about Mariah and not only with her.

Re: I don't (72,321) (72,334) by MusicfanJ from Germany
After listening to "I don't" on repeat it seems to get catchy. I prefer the version without the rap. Some parts of the singing reminded me a little bit of old school Mariah, just three words. Does anybody know if the song gets released as a single or just digital?

Re: Weird era (72,327) (72,333) by MusicfanJ from Germany
I also think it's a weird era. All the things and latest "actions" I just can't understand. It's definitely not easy to understand. The weirdest thing for me was the boat trip/engagement with James Packer. Then MW and the instagram stuff posted by a teenager. I won't say anything about the dancer.

Re: Mariah Carey Superbowl (72,249) (72,255) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Didn't she sang the US hymne for Superbowl in 2001? I think she did a great "job" back then. I remember I only stayed awake for Mariah and next day I had school.

Re: General public (72,230) (72,247) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Oh yes, a video like "My All" would be great. For me those videos were video art. But that was a time where videos were better in every way. I also agree that the cougar sexbomb is for entertainment, but all I'm asking for is a little more class, it's not like a want Mariah to be a nun. Lol. Anyway B., I love your avatar with the Daydream album. Is that you? Daydream was my first Mariah cd.

Cool. I believe she had fun doing this. Save us Batman, lol. I'm just fantasizing to see Mariah in a comic movie.

Re: Lego Batman premiere (72,205) (72,207) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Monroe is so sweet and Roc looked like a cool little gentleman. I also like to see Mariah casual on that premiere.

Re: Vision of Mariah in 2032 (72,143) (72,152) by MusicfanJ from Germany
It's true you don't need talent anymore. That's way I prefer "old" songs and movies. Except some artists. But I still have hope that Mariah wakes up from this nightmare. She just needs to have some quality time with herself and real friends without the circus. When she was in Capri she always looked so relaxed and happy.

Re: Article: Mariah works out wearing fishnets and stiletto heels (72,128) (72,151) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Marissa I totally agree. Everything you said, I wonder the same. It seems like Mariah is only functional like a machine. And not "living". During the Glitter era she started to act so strange and we all know that it caused a breakdown. It has nothing to do with being free, yes maybe she doesn't care anymore. But if you doesn't care about anything anymore you have a problem. People who are insecure or got hurt too many times often "build" a parallel universe. It can help for a little time, but it's dangerous to stay there. There are so many famous and sad examples. Crustella seems to have a lot of fun to destroy the legend Mariah Carey and doesn't care of the person Mariah. She's the winner at the moment. Isn't there any trash-celebrity who can hire Stella? I have a bad feeling that she won't go for a long time.

Re: #Beautiful (72,124) (72,147) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Lol Stella the co-executive producer. That explains a lot. You're right, where will it end? Bryan Tanaka can start to get jealous. There's no time for him. 24/7 empowerment. It's really like a soap-opera. The Bulochnikovs with special guest Mariah Carey. What a jackpot for them.

Re: "I Don't" video - my opinion (72,101) (72,106) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Yes. Wth. I'm going to listen to "One Sweet Day" and "I am free". Lyrics deep from the heart, so emotional. I wish Mariah would make a song with Ed Sheeran or Sia. The rapper on "I don't" sounds really boring. So maybe it makes sense that he "represents" Mr. Packer.

Re: MV / Mariah's house (72,092) (72,103) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Hmm NY and Mariah belong together. A lot of famous people who came from New York said they couldn't get happy in L.A. or at least never felt comfortable there. I can only imagine that it is a big difference to live in L.A. Didn't she say in an old interview when she were with Nick in California that she misses NY?

Re: Sober (72,059) (72,088) by MusicfanJ from Germany
That's true. Again it makes me sad. Am I the only one who thinks with Mariah being a mum her "moments" got worse? She would never behave like this from 1990 to 2003 when she was so young. I really wonder where are the true friends? Is nobody worried from her inner circle? I know it's boring to say but since Crustella and Co. is there it's like a rollercoaster (in a bad way) for fans who are supportive for MC for many years. And who love the humble, sweet and smart Mariah.

Re: Article: Mariah works out wearing fishnets and stiletto heels (72,046) (72,048) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Exactly I have a big problem with this new pics in gym. Because as a fan I feel embarrassed. I don't care if Rihanna and Miley do the same (because for me they are cheap and talentless compared to real musicians). Why must Mariah go that route? Maybe it's all fun for her but I can't find it funny anymore. At least it's nice to know that the new song is doing well in so many countries. I try to stay excited for new stuff.

Re: Not getting my $$ (72,004) (72,008) by MusicfanJ from Germany
What Mariah released in 97 was just wonderful music. She sounded fantastic and I love the lyrics so much from that time. That was Mariah Carey, with a new fresh sound but still Mariah Carey. I miss the time, where I was "addicted" to every new song. What I can't understand is that "I don't" get released as a single and "Meteorite" wasn't.

Re: Full song listen (71,986) (71,988) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Hmm I have to listen to it a few more times. Some parts are nice, but it sounds more like a song on a remix cd or a bonus track. And nothing against YG but I'm so tired of the rappers. I prefer the man who is singing in the background/sample. Definitely "I don't" like the pics/shots for the song. Is it so hard to dress like the superstar she is and not like a youngster wannabe?

Re: Tommy Mottola (71,801) (71,815) by MusicfanJ from Germany
I don't know what really happened between them, but Mariah was certainly not happy with Tommy around 95. That Tommy kept it private and never said a bad word to the press is very clever. I do wonder what's going on with Mariah and her latest relationships. That the marriage with Nick didn't work out must have caused her lot of problems. For me she's not the same since the divorce. Emotionally she's not acting like the grown-up woman she used to be. And I can't believe to say that but I feel sorry for James Packer. As so many on this board said, it always looked like she was not in love with him. But who knows? Mariah always wanted to feel stable and save, but with her entourage and Mr. Tanaka I fear she's far away from it. She deserves a happy private life like everybody.

Re: Barbie maker Stan Bobby scared Mariah (71,556) (71,568) by MusicfanJ from Germany
I'm a bit scared of dolls too. Thanks for your report. I can imagine that Mariah gets a little frightened or at least doesnt feel comfortable with such a fan. Maybe hes harmless but a crazy one. I just feel sorry for the other fans who got the meet and greet also cancelled.

Re: Vision Of Love or We Belong Together (71,546) (71,553) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Definitely Vision Of Love. This song is pure magic. This song is one of my all-time favorite from Mariah. With her first single she showed everybody who will rock the 90ies. Nobody has such a powerful first single in that music genre (maybe only Whitney). That was a time were you could turn the radio on and listen to wonderful songs. Now 95 per cent sounds similiar. Mariah was the vision of love back then.

Videography (71,509) by MusicfanJ from Germany
This clip is so cool. It's impossible not to love Mariah after watching this. Anybody else think "Almost home" was great and should have been a hit? First time I thought too much autotune, but now I really love that song.
