Old stuff (38,431) by Joachim Agerup Løkkevik from Norway It seems that Mariah is stuck where she has been since the late '90s, she doesn't do anything she hasn't done before. I think that #Beautiful sounded fresh, but those remixes make the song sound like some old Mariah stuff and really is far from what both fans and the masses want. When she did Spanish versions of her songs two decades ago, there was a Spanish wave in music genereally, now it sounds just so old. If the dance remix isn't a killer, I really dont know what to think anymore. (Friday 28 June 2013; 1:13)

New album (38,390) by Joachim Agerup Løkkevik from Norway I agree [...] the one talking about [...] producers. I will also be totally happy [...] an RnB album, but please not something similiar to Memoirs, because I didn't really like that album at all. The only track i did like was IWTKWLI, I love the live [...]. But, don't think Mariah will sell that many records anymore if she continues [...] rnb lane. She doesn't have to make any techno, but more pop, maybe With an rnb sound. She was well at doing buble gum pop in the '90s, and I love those songs. I don't say that I want more buble gum pop, but mature pop, and I'm expecting more mature lyrics since she now is a mom, and have mentioned that it has influenced her [...]. I also have to say that I also loved Glitter, from the moment it was released. And in Norway, aroung Christmas time, the biggest [...] paper in Norway picked it as one of the top 5 albums to buy this year. The [...] is fantastic, and I love Mariah's voice in all her songs. I dont think there is a [...] song on that album i don't like. Maybe she should re-release it hehe. (Wednesday 26 June 2013; 18:47)

I'm shocked (38,353) by Joachim Agerup Løkkevik from Norway I actually didn't know that Heartbreaker was based on the sample of "Attack of the name game". I have now listened to it on YouTube, and I'm shocked that its a complete ripoff. I thought Heartbreaker was similar to Fantasy, but I did think it was a composition on its own. Oh well, I guess all artist borrow from eachother, and I shouldn't be that surprised that the song resembles "Attack of the name game". Never the less, it's the vocal that does it for me on Heartbreaker, so I guess then it was a clever move. I also have to say, that "Touch my body" was a great lead single. I live in Norway, not that too many like Mariah here, but many people like "Touch my body" and often the remixes. I actually think that "Touch my body" was a bigger hit internationally than "We belong together", and many more remember "Touch my body" than WBT. Does anybody else think that TMB was a bigger hit than WBT? (Monday 24 June 2013; 23:02)

Favourite first single (38,332) by Joachim Agerup Løkkevik from Norway By the way, what is your favourite first single from Mariah's albums? I really like #Beautiful, but it's not my favourite one. I became a fan when she released Honey, I was 14. But my favourite first single must be Heartbreaker, I had become a huge fan by then, much because of Divas 1998. I remeber the first time I heard it, I sat in the car with my family on our way on holliday. I bought the single, and I fell in love with Heartbreaker/"If you should ever be lonely", I absolutely love that remix. I can't wait for a remix of #Beautiful, and I hope there will be a lot of Mariah. So, what is your favourite first, or lead, single? (Saturday 22 June 2013; 19:40)

Getting ready for the next single (38,331) by Joachim Agerup Løkkevik from Norway I am happy that #Beautiful reached #15 on Billboard, if that was its peak. I think it's a decent hit, and remember, ILT only whent to #16. I'm a bit dissapointed though that the single didn't do that well in Europe. But hey, I actually was afraid that Mariah was forgotten when Triumphant and Almost Home didn't to well at all on the charts. I think it's about time to release a second single now, I'm positive it will benefit from the momumentum of #Beautiful. And though many here want her not to release a ballad, I actually think that will be ok. Mariah is known for her ballads. (Saturday 22 June 2013; 18:00)

Mariah's outfit (38,304) by Joachim Agerup Løkkevik from Norway You, know, I'm a bit tired of looking at Mariah in really small outfits. I hope she will be more dressed next time I see her, she is so much more sexy when she doesn't flaunt all her assets. I think she should flaunt her voice more, I just love listening to her voice in live shows, no matter what condition the voice is in. I can't wait for the album, and I'm eager to hear her next song or remix. I'm constantly singing to #Beautiful, the song has really hit me. (Wednesday 19 June 2013; 17:38)

#Beautiful, TJ, and other stuff (38,225) by Joachim Agerup Løkkevik from Norway I really think #Beautiful is a wonderful song, it's one of my favorite Mariah songs since "I'll be lovin' u long time". Isn't it really [...] to [...] Mariah on top of the [...] again? And TJ, I also hope Mariah will come to Europe this time. I havent seen her since october 2003 in London. I almost got in to her Halloween party, but just almost. Maybe we should hook up if she comes to Europe, I don't know that many Norwegian fans. By the way, my niece is turning 8 years this week, and I have bought her Music Box besides other [...]. Hope to turn somebody to a lamb, or at least to like her [...]. (Tuesday 11 June 2013; 23:14)

#Beautiful and Rihanna (38,210) by Joachim Agerup Løkkevik from Norway I really like the new song, and I don't know why it doesn't chart that well in Europe, but I'm glad it's a decent hit in the States. But I am afraid of Rihanna and all her records lately, I hope she doesn't snatch the most number ones for a solo artist titel. But can anyone answer me this, why is Mariah always introduced as the best selling female artist of all time when Madonna has sold more. Just check Wikipedia. She is the second best selling female artist of all time, it's not bad that either. I'm really looking forward to the new album, I think I will really like this new album. I can't wait for the title. If she comes to Paris or London, I will have to make some arrangments. Anybody here to join me in Stockholm or London? I love #Beautiful on GMA. Post GMA (38,063) by Joachim Agerup Løkkevik from Norway I absolutely adore Mariah. And I think #Beautiful is wonderful. I sing it everyday. When Mariah's on, the song really takes off. And in GMA, everything went wrong, but hey, I really liked #Beautiful, Miguel wasn't unsynched. I love Mariah, she is so beautiful. (Wednesday 29 May 2013; 3:21)

AI and new music (37,575) by Joachim Agerup Løkkevik from Norway I honestly have to say that I think Mariah is doing a rather bad job as being a judge. It seems like she have troubles with building an argument. Where she starts and where she ends up seems totally random. But I like the fact that she's nice, why be a bitch when you don't have to. Maybe that's a Norwegian way of thinking, here everybody is nice and you seldom experience rudeness. Simon was too rude I think. I don't think Mariah will release music during Idol, maybe we have to wait untill the show is over. But I almost can't wait for some new music. Meanwhile, I'll just have to put some old Mariah songs on. Sad about hearing about the bombs in Boston, you fellow American lambs, a terrible thing. (Wednesday 17 April 2013; 18:01)

Mariah's fashion (37,480) by Joachim Agerup Løkkevik from Norway I really think it's not relevent to discuss Mariah's fashion choices, because lets be honest, some of her choices have been disasterous. I like some of her clothing, but she hasn't been on plenty of worst dressed lists for no reason. I like the dress she had chosen for the first live show. The one she showed so much cleveage, I didn't care for at all. I think when we are discussing people, there will always be negative factors. Mariah is smart at some things, but bad at other things, like all of us. And it's perfectly acceptable to say that Mariah should listen more to her stylists, then to her own fashon sense. Maybe it's a European way to think, our fashion is a bit different from the US. Let Mariah do what she is good at, music. I can't wait for the new album. (Monday 25 March 2013; 17:01)

I'm also a bit worried (37,422) by Joachim Agerup Løkkevik from Norway I think the descussion about who is to blame for Mariah's two flops recently, is all about finding something to blame. Isnt it just obvious that she isnt that popular anymore. She still has her fans, and I'm one of them, but the masses aren't that into her anymore. I don't think that has anything with her music being bad, but maybe because ther are other competitors out there now, young in prime of their careers. Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Britney, that's hard competition. Even Madonna is somehow more successfull these days. I'm worried about her next album, I think I will enjoy it, but I don't think the masses will. Yes, maybe it will be on the top of the Billboard top 200 album chart, but I don't expect it to contain to many hits. Don't use time on blaming someone, maybe she will have a comeback like David Bowie. But I hope it will happen sooner. (Monday 18 March 2013; 16:54)

AI and future album (37,382) by Joachim Agerup Løkkevik from Norway I have to admit that I also agree with the article about Mariah and Nicki's judging style, in fact I prefere Nicki to Mariah. I think the biggest problem about Mariah's style is that she hasn't got the nerve to be negative. The same can be said about Keith, I haven't heard a single negative comment form him yet. As for Almost Home, it doesn't surprise me that it did so bad on the charts, and I'm also concerned about that people just don't care about her music anymore. No one expected the success of TEOM, so I'm filled with hope for her next album, maybe she can have a second comeback. But I think she has to stay away from the slow tempo whispering songs that Memoirs was all about. (Tuesday 12 March 2013; 14:38)

Mariah's world dominance (37,369) by Joachim Agerup Løkkevik from Norway Mariah was on top of the world for almost a decade, but it's more than a decade since she could fill stadiums. Beyonce had been on top for a decade now, and it doesn't seem like she will go away very soon. Rihanna's been on top since 2006 and is more popular than ever. Madonna's latest tour brought in almost 300 million. I have this terrible feeling that Mariah's past her fame, and if this next album flops, who knows what will happen to her career. Well, hopefully it's just a couple of months of wait to see if she can rule the charts again. I will always love her music though, no matter the success, but I must say I haven't enjoyed much of her work since TEOM. I did love IBLULT though. And by the way, I can't even find Mariah's latest video on YouTube. Anyome else have the same problems? (Sunday 10 March 2013; 13:09)

Mariah's declining success (37,363) by Joachim Agerup Løkkevik from Norway Maybe we lambs have to se our Mariah going through a significant decline in success, pretty much all over the world. It sees nothing she does, lateley, really has an impact. I am really disapointed how the fans seem to have abonded Mariah. Will, no matter how Almost Home will perform on the charts, I like it. But I have to agree with some of you, Mariah's dress on Idol is just redicoulus. But I can hear her say, "that's festive". (Saturday 9 March 2013; 22:37)

Mariah's success in Europe (37,347) by Joachim Agerup Løkkevik from Norway Mariah has never been as popular as Beyonce and Rihanna or Madonna in Europe. She was really popular with "I'll be there" and "Without you", besides that, she is a top 20 artist. She has one album on the list of the 100 best selling albums of the 90s in the UK, and that's Music Box. But in Japan though, the country no one really wants to include, Mariah has 4 albums in the top ten list of the best selling foreign artists. In Norway, where I am from, she really havent been big since Music Box, though "All I want for Christmas" is a hit every year. I really hope "Almost home" will do better when the video is released, I'm starving for a Mariah hit. (Thursday 7 March 2013; 20:24)
