About Robert-Anthony from United States: I have been a Lamb since 1990. I know Mariah. I love her music. I breathe her music.

Love for Memoirs (104,883) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Great post Mimi. I love Memoirs too. Memoirs might have performed better if it was released in October or November with H.A.T.E.U. released on the same day. IWTKWLI was the wrong second single for the U.S. The whole album rollout was rushed after the original release date was pushed back to Srptember 29th.

Nevertheless (I'm In Love With You) (104,877) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Right. She is testing our reaction for an original jazz composition. I hope MC16 is her most surprising and critically acclaimed album ever. I know she is listening to the Lambs this time around. It has been 5 years too long since Caution dropped.

Ed Sherran [sic] collaboration (104,857) by Robert-Anthony from United States
I listened to Shivers today. When you hear an Ed Sherran song you know it's Ed Sherran 100%. I am just wondering how a Mariah Carey and Ed Sherran song would sound on the radio. I think that they could create a dance pop song that radio would be played in heavy rotation. My only reservation about suggesting a collaboration is that Ed Sherran's musical style may be too pop for MC's musical direction in 2024. She really hasn't recorded a true pop song since #Beautiful. However, he could suggest a melody and a chord that would inspire something in the style of Fantasy or Dreamlover to MC's liking.

Jazzriah - Nevertheless (I'm in love with you) (104,854) by Robert-Anthony from United States
I love it. She sounds so free when she sings a jazz song. Her vocals lately are really giving me goosebumps for the new album.

Eric, thank you for correcting my picture. You help me out in the technology department all the time. Also, thank you for putting up with my dysgraphia deficit. I say the word in my mind, but I don't type it into my sentence. Sometimes I catch my mistake while other times I don't.

I'm That Chick (104,831) by Robert-Anthony from United States
MC sung at the Saadiyat Festival in UAE yesterday. There are videos on X of her singing LTT and ITC. I have always thought ITC was the beginning of MC writing cheesy and silly lyrics. I love the beat and the MJ sample, but I think the lyrics are on list of some her worst lyrics. I don't think she will write those type lyrics ever again because of the lukewarm reception to "Corny like Fritos" from Infinity. Don't you agree, Bill? Lol. And thanks for commenting on my picture.

AIW in psychological thrillers (104,830) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Something told me to Google it after my last post. Some Lambs are shortening the AIWFCIY abbreviation to AIW. I found it on the UKMIX music site where Lambs posted about the Rockin and AIWFCIY top spot battle in December. So does that mean YDKWTD is now YDK. Lol.

I want to know too. I was afraid to ask thinking that I should know the abbreviation for every MC song.

E=MC2 (104,823) by Robert-Anthony from United States
I was just thinking that after TMB went #1, L.A. Reid chose Bye Bye as the next single and it only made it to #21. After that it seemed that all promotion stopped and album sales did not meet TEOM expectations.

MC30 (104,811) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Wasn't there some type of label turmoil during the recording and rollout of MIAM? MC wanted a Beyonce type of digital release while IDJ wanted a traditional release with pre-orders. IDJ executives were unhappy with the performance of Memoirs and MC's delayed completion of MIAM. They were just ready to be done with MC knowing that MIAM would fulfill her contractual obligations to the label. The executives now are probably concerned that MC30 doesn't have fan interest for any IDJ MC30 releases. I am surprised that It's A Wrap got a vinyl release last year. MC probably financed the release herself. She only had one hit album during her time with IDJ. Charmbraclet, E=MC2, and MIAM were all commercial disappointments. RCA will probably not allow Yours ft. Justin Timberlake to be released. Angels Advocate and Jumpsmokers Remix albums have been leaked online. MIAM leftover tracks are probably nonexistent. The question in 2024 is what label is going to sign MC to release MC16.

I think Ariana's first album is so boring. Her sound was all over the place on Yours Truly. It wasn't until Problem and Break Free were major hits that I knew she finally found her own sound. Sweetner and Thank You, Next albums solidified her successs in pop music. She definitely reminds me of a young MC in the studio. I have seen a couple of videos of her in the studio laying down vocals and she definitely emulates MC's studio process.

It is going be a busy year for women in pop and R&B with new albums from Sheryl Crow, Dua Lipa, Coco Jones, MC, Ariana Grande, Keyshia Cole, Tyla, Renee Tapp, Mary J. Blige, Ledsi, and the one Andrew doesn't want me to mention - I don't know her.

I may be sideways, but not elusive anymore. Lol. I have had so many camera issues with this Samsung 4G Galaxy. I won't quote MC at the end of her 2006 performance of DFAU on the American Music Awards.

I would accept any adult title over Me I Am Mariah: The Elusive Chanteunse. Yikes. I still hate the title today. By the way, MC never told who was calling her that and why. I think it was Hitboy, Nas and James Fauntleroy because of all the splashes being consumed in the studio.

Article: Mariah Carey celebrates 2024 by posting rare photo (104,786) by Robert-Anthony from United States
I can't understood the bad side thing either. It amazes me that MC has held onto this all of these years. I hope MC16 is a reflection album that brings MC full circle. I am anticipating an album similar to the themes that TEOM gave us like emancipation, love lost, spiritual, and having fun.

Studio pics (104,725) by Robert-Anthony from United States
True. She didn't tell us who her writing partner is that she has done the 10 songs with. I assumed that she wrote the 10 songs with Daniel Moore, but now I am thinking that she could be talking about multiple writing partners to keep us wondering. She is being very secretive with this new album just like Caution by posting no studio pics. I mentioned Poo Bear today because I saw a That Grape Juice interview on YouTube and it was all about his songs written for 112, Usher, Chris Brown, Jill Scott, and Justin Beiber. There was no mention of his studio time with MC, which I thought was odd considering the 7 songs (actually he said 7 songs in 2018 not 10 songs) they wrote together. Only 3 of those songs made the cut for Caution. Anyway, the waiting game is the hardest part for me anticipating new music.
