About Robert-Anthony from United States: I have been a Lamb since 1990. I know Mariah. I love her music. I breathe her music.

Memoirs (99,482) by Robert-Anthony from United States
I must say that I love this album. I listen to it all the time. I know that The Dream and Tricky Stewart were bashed for its poor sales, but it was really a well crafted brilliantly produced album. I would love for MC to try it again with another one production team like Mike Will Made It and P-Nasty with Timbaland and Nova Wav sprinkled in. If she only listened to me all the time. Lol.

Impossible (99,478) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Why is Impossible such a minimalist sounding song? I remember one critic described it as that type of song. How many other minimalist sounding songs does MC have in her catalog?

Re: Reimagining albums into 10 tracks (99,475) (99,477) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Bill, I took your advice last night added Circles to my workout playlist. Hopefully, when it comes on during my rotation, I will keep moving with my cardio. I added To The Floor as well since I can't stop calling it Tonight. Lol.

Yes, Bill. I always do that when I am talking about Your Girl. Lol.

Re: Reimagining albums into 10 tracks (99,469) (99,472) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Lol. Let me give you the backstory as to why I don't like Circles that much. My best friend in Memphis hooked me up with a friend he was counseling through a tough time. So, we agreed to meet at 12 midnight at Spin Street, the local music shop where I would be waiting in line to purchase TEOM when it was released that night. The guy follows me back to my car and we listen to the CD. Circles comes on and MC's voice cracks on "I just keep going round and round." You know the part. And the guy says, "See, she can't sing any more." Well, after that he said that he had to go. I never heard from him again. He told my best friend that I was too pushy. Do you all think that I am too pushy? So, that's why I can't play Circles anymore. It brings back too many bad memories of that crazy night with that guy. And my best friend believed him and didn't even care to hear my side.

Bill, you are spot on for both.

Re: Reimagining albums into 10 tracks (99,462) (99,464) by Robert-Anthony from United States
I just got my 10 points.
1. It's Like That
2. We Belong Together
3. Shake It Off
4. Mine Again
5. Say Something
6. Stay The Night
7. One and Only
8. Yours
9. Joy Ride
10. Fly Like A Bird

Get My Number, Tonight, Circles, and I Wish You Knew were just album fillers to me.

Through The Rain/AYNAF (99,461) by Robert-Anthony from United States
I was going through some more of my Mariah papers today. Why did Through The Rain stall at #81 and AYNAF at #12 on the Hot 100? TTR failed to resonate with radio and the public like other inspirational songs such as Hero, Make It Happen, One Sweet Day and Vision of Love. It even stalled on the Adult AC chart at #17. Ironically, it was a number #1 dance hit. The Hex Hector/Max Quayle and Full Intention remixes were some of her best dance remixes since Fantasy. I remember MC saying in an interview that Lyor Cohen insisted on an inspirational ballad to be the album's first single because of her personal and professional struggles during the Glitter era. AYNAF should have been a least a top 5 hit. I wonder what is the backstory behind its stall at #12. Maybe Tommy had something to do with it? Or was it just the way it usually was back then with 4th and 5th singles where they don't perform as well as 1st through 3rd singles? Just my thoughts.

Re: Original title for Somewhat Loved? (99,456) (99,457) by Robert-Anthony from United States
I am sure MC will never have a 10-song album again.

Re: Caution (99,444) (99,450) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Bill, I would like to have known if The Art of Letting Go title had never been leaked in Wal-mart's website, how the album would have been perceived. MIAM was such a crazy title from the start. Also, I would like to know how the title The Art of Letting Go title made it onto Wal-Mart's website anyway. Wasn't there supposed be an original duet with R. Kelly titled I Can't Love U?

Original title for Somewhat Loved? (99,449) by Robert-Anthony from United States
I am looking back at a news article from MCA on 08-10-13 titled Tracklist Revealed for Mariah's new album. Track 5 is The Dream collaboration called Hope Street. I think that it must have been the original title of Somewhat Loved. It's funny that we all have forgotten Somewhat Loved. Do you think it will ever make it on a greatest hits collection? Lol.

More collaboration needed (99,447) by Robert-Anthony from United States
When I look at the songwriters on the first two singles from Mary J. Blige's new album, I can only hope MC is looking at H.E.R., D'mile, DJ Khaled, Lucky Daye, Denisia Andrews, and Brittney Coney. MC is going to have to shake it up some on MC16 if she is going to even expect some airplay. MJB is going to own February with her new album and her Superbowl performance.

Caution (99,442) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Caution to me always felt like that album unlike any other MC album. It had a messy rollout, wrong single choices and she bashed it a year later during interviews. It should only have been released in Japan like Monica did All Eyez On Me in 2002. After some personal sorrows, she released After The Storm in 2003.

Me too. R&B radio played it all the time when I lived in Memphis.

Lil Love (99,438) by Robert-Anthony from United States
How many of you remember this jam? I finally found a copy of Strength and Loyalty at my local 2nd and Charles. Her vocals are not that great in 2007, but the whistles notes are hot.

Weight loss (99,431) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Am correct that MC showed major weight loss in 2008 and 2013? I know 2008 was her fittest time since 1990. I think that she used a trainer in 2008 compared to 2013. Her voice was in the best shape since the Charmbracelet era. But GMA performance premature backing track embarrassed MC and the buying public noticed that she was no longer the Voice.

Acting roles (99,426) by Robert-Anthony from United States
I wonder why MC has not received any acting roles lately. She's going to lose her acting skills if she doesn't use them.

My thoughts (99,421) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Timbaland and Mike Will Made It could produce half of MC16 and I would not be mad.

Right. Where is L.A. Reid to get MC back on track?

Babydoll (99,401) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Brandy retweeted another Lamb's tweet of "It's 2:11." If it is true that she recorded Babydoll with MC, then it is going to take Babydoll to a whole different level. I didn't think it was The Roof because the song is too personal to MC.

Re: There's an album somewhere (99,395) (99,397) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Brandy says in the interview that Mariah invited her to sing with her. I am taking that as it will be a duet. It has to be something special with The Vocal Bible and Songbird Supreme on one track. Now if Daniel Moore III co-wrote and co-produced the track, then I will be disappointed. I just don't like his songwriting and production. I think that it is a poor imitation of Big Jim Wright.

Re: There's an album somewhere (99,393) (99,394) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Brandy's interview with Rated R&B was really good. She has so much respect for MC. She said MC coached her in the recording booth and she did whatever she asked her to do. Some good things are on the way y'all.
