About Chicago Lamb from USA: Mariah fanatic since 1990!

Re: B-sides and rareties CD (ebay) (74,872) (74,877) by Chicago Lamb from USA
It's unofficial for sure, quality questionable. But could be fun to have all those tracks on one compilation.

Yes, looks like inspiration to me for sure.

411 man eating crow, kinda. Gotta love it, lol.

Re: Benny Medina (74,196) (74,205) by Chicago Lamb from USA
Benny Medina was very expensive. Probably the only manager on par with the Mottola cronies.

Re: The lipping game showdown (73,643) (73,645) by Chicago Lamb from USA
I agree with you 100%. Absolutely on the lip/dub game. I also think "Infinity", "Why You Mad", and "Infamous" are at the bottom of the barrel with regards to quality. However "I Don't" is pretty darn good, even up there with "Beautiful" imho.

Chaka has overcome addiction to cocaine. According to her, she was a habitual user many many years ago.

Take Andrew with a grain of salt. Webmaster likes his rants as his posts stirs up the readers. Apparently, Andrew gets a pass on the firm rules we are all subject to.

Nice to see Perez not saying mean things for a change.

Re: Nose (73,064) (73,071) by Chicago Lamb from USA
Mariah had some corrective work done after she recorded Daydream, but very minor and barely noticeable. What you're seeing lately are changes in the way her makeup is done. Sometimes the contouring is heavier on her nose giving it a thinner appearance.

Too bad, I liked it and thought it was a cool song.

Re: Mariah and Michael (72,717) (72,719) by Chicago Lamb from USA
Mariah will likely continue to work. Bolstered by her Vegas stint, successful European tour, and the like. She won't stop just because new songs don't chart well. Radio still plays her classics. She'll blind side the public with a top 10 soon enough anyway.

"I Don't" on Wendy (72,713) by Chicago Lamb from USA
I think the Wendy Show would be the best place to promote the single, as it's more of Mariah's demographic. I don't see a Kimmel performance doing much good.

To the Webmaster: Why isn't the word "[censored]" censored out? I get a little push and pull here is good for business but come on. It's offensive not only to Mariah, but us the readers.

Re: Production style on "I don't" (72,273) (72,282) by Chicago Lamb from USA
Totally agree. It's the catchiest track she's released in, dare I say... a decade?

Re: Radio has started playing I Don't (72,193) (72,201) by Chicago Lamb from USA
It is refreshing to see her being defended, I agree. Mariah will benefit in a sort of political way as she has been picked on for years by the media, fans and non-fans alike. Bullying is not in style anymore kids, lol.

Snippet (71,725) by Chicago Lamb from USA
What I've learned through life is that when expectations are high, expect the opposite and vice versa. Judging from this board, the new single just may surprise.

Re: The One (71,241) (71,247) by Chicago Lamb from USA
Justin Timberlakes executives did not want to release the duet. At the time, they thought it might tarnish his "cool" reputation and image. Big mistake as her next album TEOM was a huge hit.

Re: Article: Mel B wonders if Mariah "doesn't have that voice" (71,183) (71,195) by Chicago Lamb from USA
She doesn't lip the high notes, she sings over them. Mariah sings effortlessly in her whistle register.

A surprise vocal moment from Mariah at the half time show would be epic [caps].

Article: Mariah Carey team: Here's what really happened (70,689) by Chicago Lamb from USA
I consider myself a pretty objective person. I'll take Stella's account, it sounds the most plausible. The media loves to tear Mariah apart when they can. Nice to see Stellar step up and defend her client.

Re: My thoughts on NYE (70,643) (70,644) by Chicago Lamb from USA
Yes she absolutely sings on top of the notes. She sings effortlessly in her whistle register, and the backing track is just for added volume. She looked gorgeous, but if it had gone off without a hitch, she wouldn't have gotten this much publicity. We don't know and probably never will know what was behind this live snafu.

Re: Mariah and Lionel duet cd? (70,477) (70,488) by Chicago Lamb from USA
If so, I would prefer Mariah and Lionel do not re-record "Endless Love". It would undoubtedly be compared to her recording with Luther. When she re-recorded Hero, AIWFCIY, and any others I can't recall, they too were compared to the originals and if I remember correctly, not warmly received. I'm all for a duet CD of new and fresh material. I think it's a great idea. Now what if they record a live duet CD? That might be cool too. Then I suppose Endless Love would fit. I am looking forward to them doing the song live which they likely will. After all, Lionel wrote it.
