It's not easy having to take care of your parents. I pray that things get better for Andrew. When he started saying that I didn't have much intelligence in my head or I was thinking too much, that is what hurt the most. My mother enrolled my sisters in the best of schools, but she did seem care not to send me to low performing schools. When I started posting online with the old MC.com pink boards (during Charmbracelet) I used to get so hot and bothered if someone attacked me, called me names, etc. I took their words so personally. I would get anxiety attacks over what some online person would say back to me. The now 46 year old me doesn't care. I'm not as strong as you think I am, though I do appreciate your words. Maybe it's an age thing. I've learned to not let what someone says online, who I've never met, affect me. I don't deal in "what if". As for the insider account, wow, I had read somewhere they have made multiple posts about MC that never came true (although I personally never checked the account), but what you said makes sense that maybe they weren't wrong but Mariah's plans changed, so judging by what Pedro said in his post about the insider claiming her new single and video are ready to launch makes me excited for a strong roll out. It being called "musical style" I wonder if it will be like a visual album. I read what all you lovely people have to say daily and rarely post but I wanted to say that you are one of the nicest people here and I am so happy that you stood your ground to his incessant bullying and biggotry which eventually led to his self combustion as it has before. It is so good to have you posting regularly again. The insider/prediction account that you were talking about I think is Nostradamus Insider. They have been spot on about all other artists. I think Mariah possibly could have had a change of plans midway through her project last year which is what led them to be wrong. They claim MC16 as it was last year was scrapped and re-done. Not everyone has the same strength and a lot of us have been straight up bullied by him, called names, all for having a passion for Mariah's music. The music video has been already filmed. Well, I don't know about the overall accuracy of this account, but every since I've been following it they were right about everything they leaked. They knew about Ariana's imminent comeback, video, album title and imagery long before it was released as well as other artists, so I hope they'll be right about MC too. She was a horrible manager and an enabler and I'm glad Mariah saw the light of the day. Yes Mariah is a grown up and has a brain but these celebrities live in a bubble and they depend on their teams to guide them, and we all know company can impact the way you behave. Later when she was kicked out she accused her of sexual assault. Yet here we are, our supposed only lamb in the world with the big brains thinks Stella was the best thing that happened to Mariah. I read a lot of mixed reactions where some people are convinced she is definitely dropping something while others feel like we won't see anything anytime soon. I know some people are hopeful for Mariah's version of "Someone's Ugly Daughter" or the jazz album she has been mentioning. To be honest I don't care much for either of the above, although if she does release it I'll be happy for the lambs that already wanted it. But personally I would love new more mainstream music from Mariah. She's also been looking absolutely stunning and we know Mariah feels most confident with public appearances and performances when she is feeling her best. So I hope we hear something soon. I would also be interested in The Butterfly Lounge documentary but at this point I think she dropped it. I would love for her to document her next album drop where we see her as a songwriter and what goes behind the scenes of recording an album, the videos etc and release it over on streaming along with the album release. I think she is being managed or in some type of business dealings with Kris which is why she's been featured frequently with the daughters. Despite many people's personal feelings about the K-family, there's no denying that they are A-list. Globally, this family is like teflon - no scandals stick, they don't bad mouth one another to where it hurts their imaging, and they are resilient. Kris is an excellent manager who is responsible for creating and exceling each of the woman's brands. I suspect she's doing business with Mariah because Mariah's social media has been flawless lately and it's clear MC is being marketed in a more modern, current way. She's relevant again. And I believe Mariah likes being on top. She's no dummy. Her dates with Kim are no coincidence. Mariah is competing to be relevant again and it's smart to be in bed with the Kardasians. If the Kardashians were still considered trashy how are they on the A list to everything? How many other reality show stars get that level of fame? And maintain relevance close to almost two decades. Other than Mariah what is Stella's claim to fame? It's about the "money", it's about the connections/ power and what they do with it. Kim's everywhere, she's getting invited on freaking American Horror Story which has some of the best cast, same for SNL. Dolce and Gabbana created a whole line with Kim, something they have never done before. As hard as it to accept Kim K has left her C list image and climbed all the way up. She isn't on the Jersey Shore or Love Island type of reality star list. Stella is a C list reality star manager at best and that's what she'll always be. She literally turned a family with no real talent to a multi billion dollar empire, imagine what she can do with Mariah. Yes Kanye helped them get to the A list, but Mariah is already A+ list celeb, she just needs the proper exposure. Kardashians are no longer trashy with their content. They are very well curated and have done a lot of work to shift their image from reality stars to business moguls. Look at all the speaking events Kim does at Harvard , White House and so much more. They are also well connected. Mariah doesn't really need their connections because she has them either ways but what Kris can do is utilise those. Get her on the Met List, Vogue (how has she never had a Vogue cover), get her all the right interviews, curate her Instagram, brand deals and a lot more. The possibilities are endless and with Mariah trying new things (like finally accepting her nonexistent bad side) why not try the Kardashian effect. Also I completely agree with what you said about single choices. E=MC2 roll out will forever haunt me. She was coming off the high off the most iconic album of the 2000s and had a banger like TMB (with a bomb video) only to then release "Bye Bye" and ISIL? When she had "Migrate" which not only charted with no promo, but was exactly the kind of music that was dominating the radio and clubs in 08, plus had T-Pain and he was huge during that era. Migrate would have been the older sister of "It's like that" - a feel good, this night is mine, I'm feeling myself kind of song. (In today's climate it would sound a bit dated but 08 it would be bomb.) Then "I'll be loving you long time" should have been a summer anthem with proper promo. Next she had "I'm that Chick" and "Side Effects" that could have been singles. I will forever wonder why LA Reid picked the other songs . Don't get me wrong Bye Bye is a good song I listen to it, it gets me emotional because I can relate it to losing my grandmom, but you've got an album full of bangers that are single worthy and you kill the momentum with Bye Bye. Jeez. They tried too hard to recreate the "fun record followed by a big ballad" approach of TEOM, instead they should have made it the year of Mariah where she dominated all seasons - TMB to start bring some heat to the winter months, Migrate to kick of Spring, IBLYLT with the Summer of Mariah takeover and then Side Effects for the fall.
