Re: A No No (88,619) (88,620) by Shezz from Pk So there is a JD video floating on twitter where he addresses this, like B already mentioned. I'm posting the link here but somehow it never gets posted. Basically what he said was that Lil Kim reached out to him to do the remix and he sent her the beat - that's it. Nothing else came off it and he doesn't know why but I feel JD is often unclear and misleading. He says in this clip that he never heard the Steflon remix ever and that Epic records is responsible for this remix not him, that they decided to do one with her and not Lil Kim. It can be an inter label issue like Mariah has had with other artists before sadly due to Label politics. What's funny is that just a few days before the remix he posted a video about how the remix would come later, meaning he was still hoping for his Lil Kim mix. I'm pretty sure Mariah would have also preferred Lil Kim on it as she openly stated but Epic probably gave her no choice. Not that the song needs a remix, some additional star power would have just helped it get to a wider audience. (Friday 15 March 2019; 14:48)

Sounds like you and your mum were very close and had a great relationship. It is so amazing how involved and happy she was for you and your meeting with Mariah. I know how you feel about feeling guilty for not being there with her but ofcourse there was no way for you to foresee this happening. We are all here for you, and specially Mariah and her music. This is just Mimi and the crew having fun on the train. Cute but meh. And then not even a Teflon bonbon - forget the major rappers. I am very thankful though that the Bulochnikovs are history or the daughters and mommy would have surely been all over the video. There isn't a remix video coming - I think that was it. Yep. A No No alert (88,255) by Shezz from Pk If it's supposed to "blow our minds" it better be a superstar remix announcement. Just a single announcement of a song all of us have heard for 4 months now is not such a big deal even if it comes with a video. Has camp Mimi finally managed to pull off one of the biggest undercover operations ever and are Cardi and Missy part of the highly secretive ambush planned? You can tell Caution means a lot to her and when something is really close to her heart like Christmas is, boy does she fly. Yet to find one bad vocal clip and nothing looked totally lipped. Florence 4ever concert (88,094) by Shezz from Pk So for the first time the stars might align and I might go to my first ever Mariah concert because I have a plan with friends to be in Florence in the first week of June. Is anybody else going to be going to that? Wouldn't mind seeing John Legend either. I have a couple of apprehensions because the 4ever concept will be with a 100 member orchestra which should be amazing but does that mean it will be a shorter set with only songs that'll go with the setting like the New York Philharmonic one? Is it going to be a part of the Caution world tour or more like a #1s / all the hits? At first it wasn't listed on her website with the Caution tour but now it is. I do want to hear some Caution songs and some upbeat numbers that don't go with the whole orchestra theme as well. A bit confused if I should go to Florence 4ever or catch her in another European city around that time. On one hand the orchestra would be amazing and it's right in the middle of her tour so her "voice" will be there or getting there but then it won't have the whole typical vibe of a Mariah concert like the Sweet sweet fantasy tour did with the exciting entrance intro etc. What do you all think? This all star collab seems way too good to be true. I'm not getting hopes up - I'd rather be surprised than disappointed. Although Lil Kim's manager, who posted on instagram last year that the remix is happening, posted Billboard's article of A No No being released in March and tagged Missy, Kim and Cardi - saying it's coming. If all of them are supposedly keeping the remix a secret, why is he/she letting it out? Maybe it's a fake account. I wouldn't even a mind a cut and paste job because the song is great as it is. It would benefit from thr rap add ons as is. Fingers crossed. (Friday 8 February 2019; 04:26)
