Mariah Carey's first night of her "#1 To Infinity" residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on Wednesday had the singer performing her number one hits, as well as handcuffing an audience member. While singing "Touch My Body", a male audience member was escorted onto the stage, where Carey had him handcuffed and blindfolded. What happened next, though, was not expected.
As Carey sang "Touch My Body," the unsuspecting audience member was placed on a sofa-bed where, as he lay down, the singer ticked him with a feather, while her crew placed a furry, red blindfold over his eyes. But instead of Carey taunting the audience member, a male dancer stripped off his T-shirt, and began gyrating on the blindfolded fan. When the audience member's blindfold came off, he found himself laying next to Carey, who joined him on the sofa.
In addition to the S&M-like display, Carey, who recently told "Good Morning America" she wanted to get "closer" to her fans during her Vegas show, performed the hit "Always Be My Baby" from inside the audience. Carey's "#1 To Infinity" show runs at Caesars palace through May and June.
