What is Anti-gravity yoga that Mariah Carey swears by?

You might no be as famous as the Stateside global singing star is but there's nothing wrong with wanting to get as fit and trim as the new mum of twins is. So just what is Anti-Gavity yoga that they yummy-mummy Mariah Carey, 41, and world famous singer and a whole host of other famous Hollywood celebrity stars all swear by?

Firstly, Anti-gravity yoga takes place upside-down but thanks to a material kind of hammock attached to the ceiling, it allows you to stretch your body while being fully supported, which of course will help you to avoid injury and make the most out of each and every exercise pose.

Poses are a mixture of Yoga, Pilates, dance and gymnastic moves with one extremely important aim, to realign the spine while you get yourself in to shape. Anti-Gravity yoga helps you exercise without putting any added pressure on to your spine. By turning yourself upside down, you will be increasing the blood flow in your body which in turn will help you find it much easier to get your body in to certain positions.

And last but not least, doing handstands may at first appear rather daunting to many of us but they are a key move in Anti-gravity yoga which really help to work your biceps and triceps, as well as greatly improving muscles in the stomach and the mid and lower back parts of your body.
