Those boots weren't made for walking
 Mariah Carey is on her annual festive trip to Aspen. And the diva looked as glamorous as always sporting a stylish yet somewhat impractical outfit. The 43-year-old opted for an all cream ensemble wearing a fitted cashmere pea-coat which came to just above her knees as she went for a stroll with her two-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan.
But it was her choice of footwear that gave Mariah's outfit a sexy edge as she strutted along a snowy path in Aspen with her twins. The singing sensation wore a pair of cream suede knee length boots with a sheepskin trim and leather brown buckle detail. The high heeled boots added at least another four inches to the star's 5ft 9in frame and were flattering to both her figure and the rest of her ensemble, which was all cream, even down to her gloves.
However, the boots were probably not the best choice of footwear considering the slippery snowy road the diva was teetering down with her toddlers. Nonetheless, the star managed to keep her balance and sported a beaming smile as she accompanied her children to her godmother Joan Boyce's jewellery store. Carrying an umbrella over her head to protect her freshly blow-dried tresses, Mariah was immaculately made-up and covered her eyes with a pair of over-sized sunglasses.
Meanwhile, "dembabies", as Mariah and husband Nick affectionately nicknamed their twins, looked adorable in their snow outfits. Little Monroe looked very girly in a pink puffa jacket and matching pink Ralph Lauren snowboots which she wore over a black chiffon dress and some thick black tights. The fashionable tot wore a pink and green Ralph Lauren scarf around her neck to keep her extra cosy. With her hair in pigtails the bespectacled youngster looked simply adorable.
Her twin brother Moroccan sported a navy all-in-one snowsuit and a furry hat as he strode along purposefully beside his sister and famous mother. It seemed that the little boy got a bit tired from the outing as he was seen being carried by one of Mariah's team - a burly bodyguard. Not to be seen on the outing was the twin's father Nick. However the trio were not short of company as they strolled en masse with a large entourage of helpers and minders. (Mail Online)
